NEW ORLEANS — With forecasts predicting an increased risk of severe weather across southeast Louisiana, many schools are either closing or allowing early dismissal.
The timing of the storms looks like morning as early as 7 or 8 a.m. through early afternoon around 1 or 2 p.m. before rain tapers off during the afternoon and evening.
The worst of the weather could come before lunchtime around 10 a.m. to noon as a complex of especially potent storms rolls through.

The storms appear to be occurring in the morning, possibly as early as 7 or 8 a.m. m. through the early afternoon, until 1-2 p.m. m. prior to the rain decreasing in the afternoon and evening. Before lunch, at around 10 a.m., the worst of the weather may arrive. me. until midday when a series of exceptionally strong storms passes through.
