Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson is the suspect in a homicide investigation, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said in a news release.
When CHP and Culver City Fire got to the scene, they found Johnson’s infant daughter with major injuries and her older daughter with moderate injuries, CHP said.
The older daughter was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, the highway patrol said.
Once Johnson’s daughters were out of the vehicle, she didn’t stop and drove to Redondo Beach, CHP said.
While at the beach, Johnson got involved in a traffic crash and succumbed to her injuries, according to highway patrol.

At approximately 4:29 a.m. on Monday, CHP officers received a 911 call. m. concerning a medical emergency, the press statement stated. Johnson’s older daughter had moderate injuries and her infant daughter had major injuries when CHP and Culver City Fire arrived on the scene, according to CHP.

At 4:44 in the morning, the Culver City Fire Department declared the baby dead. M. claimed CHP. As per the highway patrol, the elder daughter was transported to a hospital for medical attention.

After the murder and when her daughters fell out of the car, Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson fled, according to the CHP.

Authorities identified Johnson as the person they believe committed a homicide in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Woodland Hills after conducting a “intense investigation,” according to CHP.

According to CHP, Johnson is thought to have driven away from the murder scene in a dark-colored Porsche Cayenne. According to the highway patrol’s release, the two minors “fell or were thrown out of the moving vehicle” while the vehicle was traveling on the freeway.

Johnson continued driving to Redondo Beach after her daughters got out of the car, according to CHP. Johnson died from her injuries after becoming involved in a traffic accident while she was at the beach, according to the highway patrol.

According to CHP, the identities of Johnson’s daughters will be kept secret pending additional research.

According to reports, the couple’s apartment contained the body of Jaelen Allen Chaney.
