College basketball players had until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday to withdraw from the NBA Draft. Today’s roster picture for each college basketball team is more distinct, with only a small number of uncommitted transfers left.
With over 2,000 players going up for sale during the condensed 30-day offseason window, the transfer portal was a whirlwind that began back in March. The surge of NIL money in college basketball frequently prompted some of the biggest names in the sport to use the transfer portal in search of a new home. We now know which transfers will play collegiate basketball in the upcoming season after the withdrawal deadline passed. Many of the top players tried their hand at the 2025 NBA Draft.

1. Lendeborg, Yaxel | PF | Michigan.
On the court, 6-foot-9 Lendeborg is a mismatch nightmare. Strong, athletic, and gifted with excellent instincts, he can play the three as well as the four. He has tremendous versatility and impact on the court because he can score, take defenders off the bounce, go out to make a three-point shot, and bully guys in the post. Lendeborg was our No. 1 right away. When he first entered the portal, he was ranked as a transfer, and he remained there in spite of opposition from numerous players who came after him. In the end, Lendeborg will move to Ann Arbor to join a loaded roster for Dusty May’s second season at Michigan, despite having a lot of flirtation with the NBA Draft.

2. . PJ Haggerty, Kansas State’s point guard.
Because of his strong scoring ability, Haggerty won the AAC Player of the Year award last year. When the ball is in his hands and he is going downhill, he is at his best. He can make mid-range shots, is a crafty finisher, and has improved as a three-point shooter. He has demonstrated that he is a playmaker and can fill it up. Haggerty instantly adds a great deal of value to Kansas State’s team, and he will have every opportunity to keep up his scoring rampage in the Big 12.

3. . PG Bennett Stirtz from Iowa.
Last season, Stirtz, who had previously been in Division II, became a college star. He is a guard who is incredibly intelligent and talented, and he plays the game without fear. He is a playmaker with the clutch gene, a dynamic scorer, and a knockdown shooter. In the Big Ten, Stirtz will step up his game to a new level and serve as Ben McCollum’s man.

4. . UCLA’s Donovan Dent | PG.
With his game-changing speed and explosive ball-burst, Dent is a blur on the court. He is an excellent scorer and playmaker because of his ball skills and athleticism, which make him very hard to contain off the bounce. Dent, a Bruins early transfer portal commit, could go on to be one of the Big Ten’s best guards in the upcoming campaign.
