There are leaks about the design, software updates, and artificial intelligence features of the Pixel 8a

First up is well-known tipster Evan Blass, who has posted an extensive set of pictures of the Pixel 8a.
These designs have previously been leaked, so there’s not a whole lot that’s new here, but it’s more evidence that this is indeed what the Pixel 8a is going to look like.
It appears this phone will look a lot like the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 7a, with the recognizable camera bar around the back.
It does seem as though this year’s mid-range Pixel is going to sport a more curved frame than its immediate predecessors, however.

There’s actually not too much that’s new in this video, besides seeing the Pixel 8a itself – a lot of the AI features the clip shows off, like instant photo edits and live text translations, are already available in newer Pixel phones.
Our final leak for now is over at Android Headlines, where there are some promotional images showing off some of the capabilities of the Pixel 8a: capabilities including tools like Circle to Search.
The same source says the on-sale date for the Google Pixel 8a is going to be May 16, and there are some pictures of the official silicone cases that’ll come along with it.

Undoubtedly, the Google Pixel 8a is expected to make its debut on May 14 at Google I/O 2024. As that day draws near, a ton of fresh leaks have surfaced, providing us with more insight into what to anticipate from this mid-range smartphone.

The first person to post pictures of the Pixel 8a is the well-known tipster Evan Blass. The phone is visible from the front, the back, an angle, and in the four rumored colors of Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white-ish), Bay (blue), and Mint (green).

Not much about these designs is new as they have already been leaked, but it is additional proof that this is how the Pixel 8a will look. We can see the design clearly and sharply thanks to the clear and sharp images.

With its recognizable camera bar around the back, it looks like this phone will resemble the Pixel 8 and Pixel 7a. But it looks like the mid-range Pixel of this year will have a more curved frame than its direct predecessors.

Moving on to the next leak, MySmartPrice has been able to obtain a marketing video for the Pixel 8a. Before being removed, it was momentarily accessible to watch on YouTube. Since Google owns YouTube, we can assume that someone in a higher position had a say.

Our last known leak is available at Android Headlines, where some promotional photos showcasing the Pixel 8a’s features, such as Circle to Search, are available. The pictures appear to show an all-day battery life, an IP67 rating, the Tensor G3 chipset, and seven years of security updates.

According to the same source, the Google Pixel 8a will go on sale on May 16 and official silicone case images have been released. On May 14, expect to hear everything there is to know about this new phone.
