Precise News

Through the past several weeks, Pixel 8a leaks have suggested that Google plans to raise the price of its mid-range device, despite having already upped the price of the Pixel 7a last year.
SmartPrix cites information from @OnLeaks that the US price of the Pixel 8a will, in fact, be the same as the Pixel 7a at $499.
Beyond that, the same report also mentions that the battery size on Pixel 8a will increase to 4,500 mAh.
That’s up from 4,385 mAh on the Pixel 7a.
The Pixel 8a is also said to be equipped with a 120Hz display, as we’ve heard before.
The Pixel 8a is expected to make its debut in the next couple of weeks, especially as Google I/O is right around the corner on May 14.

Additional Pixel 8a images and its US price—which, despite earlier rumors, might not be seeing an increase—have surfaced in yet another leak of the device.

Google may be planning to increase the price of the Pixel 8a, even though it increased the price of the Pixel 7a last year, according to leaks that have surfaced over the past few weeks regarding the company’s plans. But that has now changed—US pricing had never leaked before.

The US price of the Pixel 8a will actually be $499, the same as the Pixel 7a, according to information cited by SmartPrix from @OnLeaks. That only applies to the 128GB model; the new 256GB model would cost $559.

Furthermore, the Pixel 8a’s battery capacity will increase to 4,500 mAh, according to the same report. That is more than the Pixel 7a’s 4,385 mAh capacity. We’ve previously heard rumors that the Pixel 8a will also have a 120Hz display.

At last, the report also discloses multiple additional official-looking promotional photos of the phone, showcasing its black, blue, and green hues in authentic environments. While not much can be seen from those, one image does demonstrate Circle to Search in operation.

With Google I/O approaching on May 14th, it is anticipated that the Pixel 8a will make its public debut in the coming weeks.
