Joshua Jackson’s emotional letter to ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith has been turned into the courts as they continue to battle for custody of their 5-year-old daughter Juno.

In his letter to Jodie, obtained by Us Weekly, Joshua wrote, “Thank you for your quick response.

In the May 26 letter, the 46-year-old Dawson’s Creek star expressed his disapproval of the former couple’s daughter spending weeks away from him. The note was included as an exhibit in his most recent motion asking the court to step in after the actress from The Agency, 38, attempted to switch Juno’s school without Joshua’s consent.

Joshua wrote in his letter to Jodie, which Us Weekly was able to obtain, “Thank you for your prompt response. I’m glad we’re having this conversation and am eager to work with you to reach a compromise that meets all of [Juno’s] needs while giving her the best chance for success. “”.
He added that while he had problems with some of Jodie’s requests, he supported others.
Joshua wrote, “I am open to Juno being with you any time you may be able to return to Los Angeles [during her time away in London for work].”. When there is a reasonable way for us to avoid it without causing Juno undue stress, I don’t think it’s good for her to go for as long as you have suggested without seeing either parent. “.”.
“For her at this age, four weeks is an eternity,” he continued. I can see why you would be open to Juno being stationed in Los Angeles during that period; it would relieve her of the strain of flying and time zone changes. “.”.
Additionally, Joshua mentioned that he did not agree with Jodie that Juno would avoid him for six weeks.
“Thank goodness, I can travel this summer, which means that Juno won’t have to travel as much and I can still give her regular, ongoing, and meaningful contact with both parents,” Joshua wrote. “I believe that the goal of all of these discussions and the scheduling of parenting time should be to maximize that regular, ongoing, and meaningful contact. Additionally, Joshua wrote, “I do not agree for Juno to travel with you to Morocco,” in protest of Jodie’s proposed trip there with Juno. Before considering any particular travel to Morocco or anywhere else for that matter, I will need a lot more information, including dates, locations, hotels, security, your work [schedule], etc., as well as a meaningful conversation with [you]. “.”.
