The game show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” will be hosted by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Amazon revealed on Tuesday.

An Amazon Video original series, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” is the source of this 20-episode spinoff.

“I’m thrilled to be hosting my very first game show, ‘Are you Smarter than a Celebrity,’ and I grew up loving game shows,” Kelce stated in a news release. “I’m inspired by so many TV icons…”. The new format featuring everyone’s favorite celebrities on screen will undoubtedly be entertaining, especially since the original show was a huge success. I’m simply delighted to be in charge of the hosting here, and I’m looking forward to seeing how these well-known faces hold up,” Kelce said.

In Kelce’s version of the show, an adult contestant will be able to win a $100,000 prize by answering 11 questions on a variety of subjects with the assistance of a group of fifth graders. Celebrities will take the place of fifth-grade students in the game “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”.

In February, the Kansas City Chiefs and 34-year-old Kelce won their second consecutive Super Bowl. The relationship between the eight-time Pro Bowler and four-time NFL All-Pro with pop sensation Taylor Swift and the podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother, the legendary Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, helped make the player well-known last season.
