Our eight Omaha picks, super regional matchup predictions, and national champion predictions are listed below.
Arkansas.
North Dakota State, Kansas, and Creighton are the regional rivals.
Super regional prediction: Tennessee loses to Arkansas.
Every detail about Arkansas suggests Omaha. Both in theory and in practice, the Razorbacks play cohesively, rarely display obvious flaws, and meet all expectations. They are statistically a formidable opponent, placing in the top 20 nationally in almost all important offensive and pitching categories. To get to the College World Series, we’re riding with one of the nation’s most formidable and complete teams.
Florida.
Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, and Fairfield are the regional rivals.
Prediction for the Super Regional: Florida wins over Auburn.
This is without a doubt one of the riskiest selections available. To make it through the arduous Omaha grind away from home, Florida would need to win a regional and a super regional on the road. However, this team is also at its best right now. Because East Carolina and Coastal Carolina both score below the top 80 and Auburn, a possible super opponent, has its own offensive inconsistencies, the Gators drew a regional without a true offensive juggernaut despite playing their best baseball in the closing minutes. Florida has a genuine chance to fight its way through thanks to its well-rounded roster and proven core. Additionally, you can’t discount this program when you have a coach with nine trips to Omaha, Kevin O’Sullivan.

Northeastern, Mississippi State, and Bethune-Cookman are the regional rivals.
Florida State defeats TCU in the super regional.
With Florida State in position to make a return trip, head coach Link Jarrett already knows the route to Omaha, having led the Seminoles there a year ago. The journey won’t be simple. After a late-season coaching change, the Seminoles have to contend with a dangerous Northeastern team and an emotionally-charged Mississippi State team playing inspired baseball. Additionally difficult would be a possible super regional matchup with Oregon State or TCU. However, we believe Florida State has a good chance of making it back to the College World Series because of the outstanding one-two punch that Joey Volini and Jamie Arnold provide on the mound and the ample offensive firepower that supports them.
Georgia Tech.
Regional rivals include Murray State, Western Kentucky, and Ole Miss.
Super regional prediction: Georgia Tech defeats Oklahoma State.
Head coach Danny Hall is pursuing a final trip to Omaha during his retirement season, and Georgia Tech is riding a strong emotional wave at the moment. However, sentimentality aside, this team is designed to succeed. The ACC regular season champions, who rank 15th in the country in batting average, have a strong overall record against host Ole Miss. Slugging percentage (314), 11th. 31st in the on-base percentage (535). 415) and ranked 18th in wRC+ (123). Although they aren’t particularly strong, the pitching staff ought to be reliable enough to support the offense. With a clear route back to the College World Series, the Tigers are a well-oiled machine. With a possible super regional matchup against Clemson looking very winnable, this regional is doable. With its offensive firepower, front-line arms, and postseason experience, LSU is well-positioned to make another strong run.
Oregon.
Regional rivals include Utah Valley, Arizona, and Cal Poly.
Prediction for the super regional: Oregon wins over North Carolina.
In the past two years, Oregon has made two consecutive trips to the super regionals, but they have fallen short of Omaha. It seems like the Ducks will make their breakthrough this year. Their whole 2024 super regional roster is back, and they have a pitching staff led by seasoned left-hander Grayson Griffin. North Carolina might not have the offensive firepower to keep up with an Oregon team that can win games on both sides of the ball, and the regional draw—which consists of Arizona, Cal Poly, and Utah Valley—is manageable.
Texas. .
Houston Christian, Kansas State, and UTSA are the regional rivals.
Super regional prediction: UC Irvine loses to Texas.

The Longhorns’ stellar statistical profile helped them win the SEC regular season championship in their inaugural season in the league. They seem to have one of the most obvious routes to Omaha in the entire field, so their draw might be even stronger than their seed indicates. In June, Vanderbilt will test the viability of traditional baseball. We believe that strategy will get the Commodores to Omaha, but we are not picking them to win it all. With a variety of pitch mixes, Vanderbilt has increased its focus on offensive athleticism, bat-to-ball skills, and strike-throwing, while many teams strive for raw power and velocity. The end result was elite run prevention but mediocre offensive numbers. That formula is still viable, at least to the extent of making it to the College World Series.
