Transylvania County The sheriff’s office says is coordinating volunteer efforts and is accepting donations to support those efforts.
They will be coordinating to help distribute public resources of food, water and other supplies.

SINCAIR ASSISTS.

With Sinclair Cares: Hurricane Helene Relief, Sinclair and The Salvation Army are collaborating. Your donation will support The Salvation Army’s ongoing efforts to feed locals and first responders, as well as to provide clean water and much-needed support. For the first $50,000 raised through, Sinclair will also match corporate donations up to $50,000.

County Buncombe.

If someone would like to donate goods or equipment, or if they have any questions about particular requirements, they can email helenedonations@buncombecounty . org, according to the Buncombe County Government.

Donations of medications are being accepted at the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministries (ABCCM) Medical Clinic starting at 9 a.m. me. to 12 p. M. Monday through Thursday.

Acceptable items include sealed, manufactured bottles that don’t need to be refrigerated and aren’t expired, as well as any controlled substances or cancer medications.

Additionally, ABCCM currently offers primary healthcare to all adults.

Along with food, water, diapers, and formula, county officials say they are also accepting donations.

is starting a major distribution and donation campaign at the WNC Farmers Market. October is when donations will be accepted. 1–5 starting at 8 a.m. me. – noon. Supplies required:.

Food that can be kept on a shelf (pop-top cans are best; they don’t need a can opener).

County Haywood.

Donations may be left at the Woodland Baptist Church, located at 545 Crabtree Road in Waynesville, according to the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office.

Donations are being accepted in Canton behind Town Hall, 85 Summer Street. Donations will now be distributed at IP Sports Complex. Items that are necessary are as follows.

Food that is not perishable and cans with a pop-top lid.

Water in gallons.

diapers, baby wipes, and formula.

cat food.

toiletries (deodorant, toothpaste).

First aid materials.

feminine goods.

Paper towels, cleaning supplies, soap, and sanitizer.

fresh underwear and socks.

Batteries (AA, C, D).

tarps and rope.

Latex, leather, and nitrile gloves.

Shovels, please.

Bar and chain oil.

tiny tanks of propane.

County Henderson.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) asks those donating to utilize the newly establisheddonation drop-off site at 118 McAbee Court, Flat Rock, N. B.

Donated items should be dropped off at the McAbee Court distribution center rather than the six other resource sites that have been set up, according to the HCSO. Employees from Henderson County will receive the donations at the distribution center and then distribute them to the six other resource sites so that the general public can pick them up.

Donation drops are the only activity permitted on McAbee Court.

The website accepts non-perishable food items like bottled water, toiletries, and baby powder formula; however, it does not accept perishable food or new or used clothing.

County McDowell.

The following is a list of ways that you can help with recovery efforts.

Donation Drop Off Location: 634 College Drive, Marion, N.J. is the address of the Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center, where donations of necessary supplies can be dropped off. D. What is acceptable is as follows:.

The drop-off window is 8:00 a.m. me. until six o’clock. m. each day.

Polk County.

If someone wants to donate in Polk County but is unable to do so in person, supplies and donations can now be shipped through Tryon International, located at 4066 Pea Ridge Road, Mill Spring, N.C. D.

If anyone would like to contribute financially to the relief efforts, they can mail a check made payable to the Green River Foundation to the address listed above, mentioning in the memo “Hurricane Helene relief.”.

Donations made will only be used to support relief efforts in North Carolina’s Polk, Rutherford, Henderson, and Buncombe counties. B. as well as Spartanburg County, South Carolina. All donations will be fully tax deductible.

Tennessee County.

According to the sheriff’s office, donations are being accepted to support the volunteer efforts that are being coordinated. Make direct contact with Anchor Baptist if you have any donations or are available to volunteer. They will work together to assist in the distribution of food, water, and other public resources.
