PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Arizona’s Family is learning more about the victims in the hostage, baby shot, officer-involved shooting, standoff, and fire situation in Surprise from the mother’s best friend.
Linda Ogle says her friend Allie was doing all she could to get out of a domestic violence situation, and no one ever expected it to escalate to this extreme.
In one day, Allie lost her home and all of her belongings, and she nearly lost her 6-month-old baby, Jaxson.
Allie and Jaxson are living an unimaginable nightmare after police say 51-year-old Todd Marchetti caused a series of tragic events.
Detectives say Marchetti broke into a home in Surprise around 3 a.m. Friday and held Allie and Jaxson hostage.
Ogle says Allie recently moved in there with her parents to try to get away from Marchetti’s abuse, but he was stalking her.
That crew called 911, and then police say Marchetti shot his son.
“There’s a huge part of her that wishes they could have had the family that she wanted to have,” said Ogle.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The mother’s best friend is providing additional information to Arizona’s Family regarding the victims of the hostage, baby shot, officer-involved shooting, standoff, and fire situation in Surprise.

According to Linda Ogle, nobody ever anticipated that domestic abuse would get this bad, and Allie was doing everything in her power to escape the situation.

Allie lost her house, everything in it, and her 6-month-old son, Jaxson, almost lost away in a single day.

“Dark. Ogle remarked, “I have no other explanation for him than that he is evil.

Something out of a horror film, according to Ogle. Police claim that 51-year-old Todd Marchetti was the catalyst for a string of tragic events that have left Allie and Jaxson living an unimaginable nightmare.

“A great deal of fear exists. She truly feared him,” Ogle remarked.

Marchetti has been Allie’s boyfriend for the past nine months and is Jaxson’s father. Marchetti allegedly broke into a Surprise home at three in the morning, according to detectives. m. Friday and took Jaxson and Allie hostage.

Marchetti was stalking Allie, according to Ogle, even though she had recently moved in with her parents in an attempt to escape his abuse.

“He broke through one of the windows with an ax,” Ogle remarked. He carried several types of pliers, ropes, butcher knives, and duct tape. “.

According to Ogle, the plan was to torment Allie for days while her parents were away for the weekend. In the process, she claims that Marchetti shot the family dog. Allie couldn’t get away when they went to the vet, according to her.

When they returned, Ogle claims Allie persuaded him to allow her to approach a construction worker about getting assistance for mending the window he had broken. After that crew dialed 911, according to the police, Marchetti shot his son.

I have told her on several occasions that she saved their lives. “Well, I should have just taken Jaxson out of the house with me,” she said. “But if you had picked that baby up and tried to walk out that door with him, he would have opened fire on both of you, and right now, neither of you would be here,” Ogle remarked.

According to Ogle, Jaxson’s survival is miraculous. He has had two surgeries thus far, according to her, and the physicians anticipate that he will recover.

“He opened his eyes yesterday, hearing Allie’s voice. With a wiggle of his toes. He holds on to my finger,” Ogle remarked. After this incident, she has stayed by their side in the hospital.

Marchetti refused to come out, according to the police, and there was a standoff for hours after Jaxson was saved by tactical teams and taken to the hospital.

And then the house caught fire, destroying it. Allie’s childhood home reportedly burned down, according to Ogle. She claimed, “He wanted to make her relive her trauma, and he succeeded exactly in doing so.”.

The remains of Marchetti are said to have been discovered in the debris on Saturday by investigators. They think he shot himself in the head, killing himself.

According to Ogle, “a big part of her wishes they could have had the family she wanted to have.”.
