The first directive rescinds the Biden Administration’s guidelines for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) enforcement actions that thwart law enforcement in or near so-called “sensitive” areas.
The second directive ends the broad abuse of humanitarian parole and returns the program to a case-by-case basis.
The Trump Administration will not tie the hands of our brave law enforcement, and instead trusts them to use common sense.
“The Biden-Harris Administration abused the humanitarian parole program to indiscriminately allow 1.5 million migrants to enter our country.
This action will return the humanitarian parole program to its original purpose of looking at migrants on a case-by-case basis.”
WASHINGTON — Benjamine Huffman, the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, issued two orders yesterday that are crucial to stopping the invasion of the southern border of the United States and enabling law enforcement to defend citizens.
The first directive nullifies the Biden Administration’s policies regarding Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement actions that impede law enforcement in or close to alleged “sensitive” areas. With the second directive, humanitarian parole is no longer widely abused and is once again administered on a case-by-case basis. Any parole programs that do not comply with the law will be phased out by ICE and CBP. A DHS spokesperson is responsible for the following statement.
The courageous men and women in CBP and ICE are now better equipped to uphold our immigration laws and apprehend criminal aliens who have entered our nation illegally, including rapists and murderers, thanks to this action. The ability of criminals to hide in American churches and schools in order to evade arrest will no longer exist. Our courageous law enforcement will not be restrained by the Trump Administration; instead, they will be trusted to exercise common sense.
Through the indiscriminate entry of 1.5 million migrants into our nation, the Biden-Harris Administration misused the humanitarian parole program. All of this was halted on the first day of the Trump administration. By taking this action, the humanitarian parole program will once again focus on evaluating migrants individually. “.”.
