Ellen DeGeneres shut down rumors that her UK home flooded after she fled the United States following Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 presidential election.
DeGeneres and de Rossi, 51, reportedly moved out of the US last month after Trump won the election over Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
In 2018, the former “Ellen” host’s property was damaged by mudslides and flash flooding in the aftermath of a wildfire.
The duo, however, reportedly purchased their sprawling England property before the election.
DeGeneres joined Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and other A-list celebrities in supporting Harris ahead of the Nov. 5 election.

In honor of her and wife Portia de Rossi’s dating anniversary, the former talk show host took to Instagram on Sunday to address the rumors surrounding her farmhouse in the Cotswolds, England.
The comedian captioned a picture of herself and de Rossi standing in the center of what looked to be their rural estate, saying, “We started this relationship 20 years ago today without realizing what a long, beautiful adventure this would be.”.
“I have never experienced anything better in my life than you. In the next 20 years, we will have the opportunity to travel and explore the world together, and I am excited for our first snowy Christmas. “.”.

After the area saw heavy rains, the Daily Mail said on Saturday that rising waters had engulfed the couple’s 43-acre property.
After Trump defeated Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the election last month, DeGeneres and de Rossi, 51, reportedly left the United States.

After moving across the pond, DeGeneres and de Rossi are now preparing to list their California home for sale, according to the Wrap.
They will “never” return to the United States, according to the outlet.
