Colorado election results show a live vote count

Election results are still coming in for Colorado.
Some candidates have claimed victory and some have conceded, but others are waiting until Wednesday or later to do so.
According to CBS News projections, Lauren Boebert will go on to represent Colorado for a third congressional term, just in a new district.
CBS News also projects that Colorado voters chose Vice President Kamala Harris over former President Donald Trump.
There were numerous statewide measures (14) citizens were asked to vote for or against this year, including on issues like abortion, judicial discipline and school choice.
The last time Coloradans had more than 14 statewide initiatives on their ballot was in 1914 — 110 years ago.
There were open seats in three of Colorado’s eight congressional districts (Districts 3, 4 and 5).
All three seats were vacated by Republicans, and constituents are deciding if GOP candidates will continue to be their representatives.
It is one of several races nationwide could determine the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Colorado election results are still being received. There are candidates who have declared victory, some who have given up, and others who are holding off until Wednesday or later. Estimates from CBS News indicate that Lauren Boebert will serve a third term in Congress, albeit in a different district. Additionally, according to CBS News, Colorado voters favored Vice President Kamala Harris over former President Donald Trump. Colorado’s ten electoral college votes are predicted to go to the Democratic presidential nominee.

This year, voters were asked to vote for or against a number of statewide measures (14) on topics such as school choice, judicial discipline, and abortion. 110 years have passed since Colorado voters last saw more than 14 statewide initiatives on their ballots, in 1914.

Of Colorado’s eight congressional districts, three (Districts 3, 4, and 5) had open seats. Republicans vacated all three seats, and voters are choosing whether or not to elect GOP candidates to serve as their representatives going forward. District 8 is still a close race. It is one of many races across the country that could decide the distribution of power in the United States. S. Congress. Voters were asked to accept or reject local law changes in Denver and other counties and municipalities that dealt with topics like school district funding, affordable housing, and health care.
