Ellen DeGeneres was rocking a new ‘do across the pond after she and wife Portia de Rossi reportedly fled the US following Donald Trump’s presidential win.
The comedian had brunette hair as she was seen enjoying a night out with friends at UK pub The Farmer’s Dog in a video shared to Instagram on Nov. 13.
DeGeneres and de Rossi were spotted listening to live music at the bar alongside several pals, including “Torn” singer Natalie Imbruglia.
“… what a great night in the pub with @thecorrsofficial ..the way a good pub night should be ..acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends @jeremyclarkson1 thanks for organising [sic] it!” read the caption posted by The Farmer’s Dog.
DeGeneres, 66, and de Rossi, 51, purchased the property before the 2024 election, according to TMZ.
According to reports, Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi left the United States after Donald Trump was elected president, and she was sporting a new hairstyle across the pond.
In a November video posted to Instagram, the comedian with brunette hair was seen having a good time with friends at the UK pub The Farmer’s Dog. 13.
Along with a number of friends, including Natalie Imbruglia, the singer of “Torn,” DeGeneres and de Rossi were seen enjoying live music at the bar.
The caption read, “… what a great night in the pub with @thecorrsofficial . dot the way a good pub night should be . dot acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends @jeremyclarkson1 thanks for organizing [sic] it!” the Farmer’s Dog shared.
Sources told TMZ that DeGeneres and Rossi moved to England because of Trump’s reelection, which sparked the news earlier this week.
Almost two hours from London, the couple is said to have already made their home in the Cotswolds in the South West of England.
According to TMZ, deGeneres, 66, and de Rossi, 51, bought the property prior to the 2024 election.
Prior to their 2008 wedding, the couple had resided in Montecito, California.
It was reported that they were “very disillusioned” with the prospect of another Trump administration.
In the run for the presidency, DeGeneres had openly supported Vice President Kamala Harris.
In August, she took to social media to express her support for the Democratic nominee.
“I am so excited for @KamalaHarris to be our next president! There is nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come,” she wrote as the caption for the photo.
