Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce acknowledged his “palms were definitely sweating” when he proposed to pop icon and now-fiancee Taylor Swift last month.
Kelce spoke about his emotions related to that during an interview with Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews that aired Sunday.
“I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,” Kelce said of proposing to Swift.
Before the two were a couple, Andrews encouraged Swift to go on a date with Kelce while speaking on her podcast.
In the Fox Sports interview, Kelce spoke about his last two years with Swift.

Andrews may have been instrumental in Kelce and Swift’s initial relationship two years ago. In her podcast, Andrews urged Swift to go on a date with Kelce prior to their relationship.
After he and Swift started dating, Kelce later thanked Andrews on Instagram for helping with his podcast.
Kelce talked about his past two years with Swift in the Fox Sports interview.
Kelce said to Andrews, “She has made me a better man and a better person by bringing excitement and joy for life.”. And helped me feel even more at ease with my identity. “.”.
Andrews also questioned Kelce regarding the crucial game against the Philadelphia Eagles this week. The Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, to start the season 0-1.
