This post contains details from the Season 3 premiere of CBS‘ Tracker.
Two familiar faces were missing from Sunday night’s Season 3 premiere of Tracker.
Apparently, he’s helping Reenie hire a new tech specialist after Bobby got a new job opportunity.
Last season, Reenie began shouldering much of that responsibility with Velma as Teddi was phased out of the show.
The Season 5 premiere sees Reenie assign Colter and Russ a job from one of her clients, whose ex-wife and daughter go missing.
This post includes information from the third season premiere of CBS’s Tracker.
Sunday night’s Tracker Season 3 premiere lacked two well-known characters.
According to a July Deadline report, Eric Graise and Abby McEnany are no longer regulars on the show. The return of the Missing Persons drama to CBS offered some succinct explanations for their characters’ departures from the universe.
The answers follow the beginning of the episode, where Colter (Justin Hartley) is confronted by his brother Russ (Jensen Ackles) about the night his father died in the Season 2 finale, and he ends up starting a fight in a small town bar. Russ helps him clean up that mess, and then he calls Reenie (Fiona Rene) to let her know Colter is all right. She then gives them a new task.
As we stay with Reenie, she is being met at her workplace by Randy (Chris De’Sean Lee), Graise’s Bobby’s cousin who was first introduced in Season 2. After Bobby was offered a new position, it appears that he is assisting Reenie in hiring a new tech specialist.
Following Bobby’s text message to check in, Randy tells Reenie, “He’s killing it.”. He is currently an encryption specialist at a new startup after formally leaving his position at the repair shop. He’s making ends meet with his salary and stock options. “.”.
When actress Robin Weigert left the show last season, McEnany’s Velma went out of town to visit her mother, joining her wife Teddi. Reenie says we might see Velma again, but for now she needs to prioritize her family.
“I have no idea where any of that stuff is located. When Randy inquires about where to locate some equipment, she responds, “Velma does.”. He then inquires about her potential return date, but Reenie is clueless.
“To be honest, I don’t know. She went to see Teddy. Reenie says, “She’s attempting to keep her marriage intact.”.
Teddi and Velma assisted in managing Colter’s “back end” in the first season, which included looking for new employment, managing the finances, and occasionally getting him out of jail. Since Teddi was gradually removed from the show last season, Reenie and Velma took on a lot of that responsibility.
Reenie assigns Colter and Russ a job from one of her clients, whose ex-wife and daughter disappear, in the Season 5 premiere. Although the brothers believe they are looking into a crypto scam gone wrong, they wind up in a much larger maze than they could have ever dreamed.
At 8 p.m. on Sundays, new episodes of Tracker air. m. ET/PT.
