Eurogamer

With its July arrival almost upon us, Activision has announced a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 demo, but it’s a pre-order exclusive, making it very much the opposite of ‘try before you buy’.
As for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4’s expanded playable roster, it now includes Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Zion Wright, Jamie Foy, Nora Vasconcellos, Margielyn Didal, Yuto Horigome, Zion Wright, Aurélien Giraud, and Andy Anderson.
Additionally, there’s an appearance from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s Michelangelo, who arrives as an unlockable “secret” skater.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Game Pass when it launches on 11th July.
As for that demo, it’s out today on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, and features the Foundry and College parks, skaters Tony Hawk and Rayssa Leal, plus a limited selection of songs.

POSITIVE

Activision has revealed a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 demo, which is almost here in July, but it’s a pre-order exclusive, so it’s definitely not a “try before you buy” option.

As previously mentioned, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a complete reimagining of the popular skating games, featuring a number of “modern upgrades” such as “new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even sicker soundtrack” in addition to new parks (a water park, pinball table, and movie studio are confirmed), as well as cross-platform online multiplayer for up to eight skaters.

In the new HAWK mode, which is available in multiplayer, players drop letters in challenging locations and compete to find as many as they can in the allotted time. A variety of activities are available in the Competitive playlist, including Trick Attack, Score Challenge, Combo Mambo, Combo Challenge, and Graffiti, in addition to the sandbox-like Free Skate mode.

In addition to Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Zion Wright, Jamie Foy, Nora Vasconcellos, Margielyn Didal, Yuto Horigome, Zion Wright, Aurélien Giraud, and Andy Anderson, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 now has a larger playable roster. Furthermore, Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle makes an appearance as an unlockable “secret” skater.

Actvision has also confirmed that Create-A-Skater will be back, along with an improved version of Create-A-Park that adds new props, such as musical notes and speed boost pads, and allows players to set their own goals. Additionally, a new photo mode is available for players who enjoy recording their skating highlights.

When Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 launches on July 11th, it will be accessible on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Game Pass.

That demo, which is available today on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, includes skaters Tony Hawk and Rayssa Leal, the Foundry and College parks, and a small number of songs. To play it, though, you will have to pre-order the entire game.
