Nicole Kidman took to Instagram Saturday morning to announce that “Practical Magic 2” has wrapped production.
Plot details for “Practical Magic 2” are still under wraps, but the film is reportedly based on another book in Hoffman’s “Practical Magic” series.
“Bird Box” director Susanne Bier will helm the film from a screenplay co-written by Akiva Goldsman, who also co-wrote the first “Practical Magic”, and Georgia Pritchett.
The original “Practical Magic” was not a box office hit upon its 1998 release, only grossing $68.3 million worldwide against its $75 million budget.
The Owens sisters’ return to the big screen won’t be too long in the future.
