Yesterday saw the opening of Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC 2025), which featured the iPhone manufacturer’s customary glitzy keynote. The business described its operating system modifications as usual, naming them by year now instead of version number. The most significant development is Liquid Glass, an OS visual overhaul that aims to better align all of the platforms and share features. For example, it has redesigned the iPhone app, but it will also be accessible on macOS Tahoe. Additionally, there are some updates to Apple Intelligence, including the less helpful (using Image Playground to create backgrounds for your group chats) and the useful (live translation of speech and text).
Following last year’s show, the emphasis on more functional features and minor adjustments is welcome. Ultimately, the business made some audacious promises about what it would bring to Siri, which it was unable to fulfill in the allotted time. Apple performs best when it provides its users with features that improve their lives, not when it tries to outdo its AI competitors in Silicon Valley.

Warner Bros. doesn’t exist. enjoys nothing more than a high-profile merger that is quickly followed by a similarly high-profile de-merger. Shortly after its misguided alliance with Discovery, WBD is redefining itself and isn’t keeping its future business goals a secret. One business, Streaming and Studios, will continue to own HBO, HBO Max, DC Studios, Warner Bros., and New Line. The company’s cable channels and brands, such as CNN, HGTV Cartoon Network, and Discovery, are part of the other, Global Networks. The Legend of Zelda film has been postponed by Nintendo.
Only by six weeks, though.
With the 2027 movie release schedule, Nintendo is saying, “Well, excuse me,” pushing The Legend of Zelda back to May 7. The delay was necessary to make sure the movie was as “good as it can be,” according to Shigeru Miyamoto, even though the term “live-action Zelda movie” automatically makes people shiver. Thankfully, director Wes Ball has stated that his goal is to create a film that embodies Miyazaki’s live action style, which is the highest goal anyone could have.
