Despite its incredibly thin appearance, a new image that has surfaced online illustrates just how thick the camera bump on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be.
A few significant leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 have surfaced in recent days, ranging from hands-on marketing materials to official teasers. It’s evident from each of those that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a significantly thinner profile than any Z Fold phone before it.
In addition to advancing that idea, the most recent one highlights how distinct it can make other parts of the phone appear. A Reddit user discovered a case photo online that appears to have appeared a bit too soon. That picture gives a better idea of the size of the camera bump on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The case in the leaked photos has ridges that correspond to the height of the camera lenses and protectors, which is significant. A platform that protrudes past the phone’s rear panel and provides additional room for the internal components is located underneath that.

Although the camera bar has been viewed directly in earlier images, it has been challenging to gauge how tall those lenses are. With its tall camera bump, the phone somewhat mimics the design cues of the Galaxy S25 Edge, and the leaked image provides a much better idea of the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s dimensions.
Additionally, the image confirms the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s slender design. The exposed volume rocker and power button are noticeably thinner, despite the case’s millimeter thickness addition.
Early in July, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is scheduled to make its debut.
