Safety feature expansion for Germany For users in Germany, Google is expanding access to fall detection for all Pixel Watch generations and car crash detection to Pixel phones as well as Pixel Watch 2 and 3.
For the Pixel Tablet Images credit — Google VPN on Pixel Tablet Google’s free built-in VPN, previously only available on Pixel phones, is now available on the Pixel Tablet.

The launch of Google’s new AI assistant, Gemini, is among the most significant changes. Several Google services and apps for Android come with Gemini built in, which makes it simpler to do tasks like sending messages, calling contacts, setting alarms, and managing device settings. A new feature added to the Recorder app is Clear Voice Mode, which automatically lowers background noise and other distractions in your recordings.

Additionally, sharing images and videos from your Pixel phone to Snapchat is becoming simpler. Instead of browsing through your device’s photo albums, you can now view all of your folders, favorites, and cloud photos within Snapchat thanks to the new Photo Picker.

A new method of smartphone navigation called Simple View is being introduced by Google. For users who prefer a less cluttered experience, this feature makes the interface simpler and easier to use.
Verify your identity for added protection.
A recent beta feature called Identity Check prevents you from making any changes to your phone’s sensitive settings when you’re in a new place by requiring your fingerprint or face authentication.
With the exception of the Gemini Nano suggested replies, Pixel Screenshots app updates, Ultra HDR Instagram photos, Pixel Studio stickers in Gboard, and Clear Voice Mode in the Recorder app, which are exclusive to the Pixel 9 series, the majority of the aforementioned Pixel phone updates are applicable to the Pixel 6 and later models. With the exception of the Joy feature, which the original Pixel Fold won’t have, Dual Screen in Portrait mode and Made You Look are exclusive to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and the original Pixel Fold.

Google has made a number of health features more accessible. Users of the Pixel Watch 3 in Portugal and Germany can now detect pulse loss. Older Pixel Watch models, the Fitbit Sense 1 and 2, Versa 2 through 4, Charge 5 and 6, Inspire 2 and 3, and the Luxe will now have access to the improved daily readiness algorithm and new tools, Cardio Load and Target Load, which were first introduced with the Pixel Watch 3.

A welcome development that makes Pixel devices even more useful in daily life is the extension of health and safety features.
