There are new images of the Pixel 8a

Precise News

Google’s upcoming Pixel 8a has been leaking like crazy lately.
Most recently, we’ve had a spec sheet for it outed a few days ago, not long after another one.
Last week Google itself may have even shown us the Pixel 8a in an ad for its carrier in the US.
Today a couple of new images of the phone have leaked, showing both the back and the front of the colorway that undoubtedly will be called Obsidian (since that’s what Google likes to call black these days).
On the front, however, the screen’s bezels really are the stars of the show, as they look quite large – especially the chin – for this price point.
Then again, Google will probably get away with it since most people will praise its software and camera quality.
And compared to the Pixel 7a this model will be replacing, the bezels aren’t that bad – it’s just that some of the Pixel 8a’s competitors in Europe and Asia have much smaller ones.
Aside from the Obsidian color shown here, the Pixel 8a is also expected to come in Porcelain (white) and Bay (blue).

Recently, there has been a massive leak concerning Google’s upcoming Pixel 8a. Most recently, a spec sheet was released for it a few days ago, following another one shortly after. The Pixel 8a may have even been featured in a Google carrier advertisement for the US last week.

As Google likes to refer to black these days, Obsidian is the colorway that will surely be called after these two new phone leaks that show both the front and back of the device.

The back view is essentially what you would expect to see: minimal G branding, a circular LED flash array, two sensors, and the camera ‘visor,’ which extends from one side of the frame to the other.

On the front, however, the screen’s bezels steal the show because, especially the chin, they appear fairly large for the price. Google, though, will probably get away with it because the majority of users will likely compliment its software and camera quality. Additionally, the bezels on this model aren’t all that bad, though some of the rivals in Europe and Asia have considerably smaller bezels than the Pixel 7a, which it will be replacing.

In relation to its predecessor, this one has unquestionably more rounded corners. In addition to the Obsidian color displayed here, Porcelain (white) and Bay (blue) are anticipated color options for the Pixel 8a. It will feature a 6.1-inch 120 Hz OLED screen, 128/256GB of storage, a 64 MP primary camera with OIS, a 13 MP ultrawide, a 13 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 27W wired charging. It is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chipset.
