I have a fanatec wheel setup, and tbh had drifted away, bored of gt7 until vr2 landed.
It levels the game up a couple of tiers imo.
Difficult to explain how good it is, cocooned in your car, vr2, headphones, wheel setup.
Barely touched any other vr game.
I’d rather play a top tier pancake game tbh.
Just Gt7 is worth it. for me.
Actually, I had drifted away from GT7 because I was bored until VR2 landed, and I have a fanatec wheel setup.
I’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto 7 every day since the release of VR2. In my opinion, it elevates the game by a few levels. When using a good wheel, the level of immersion is amazing.
It feels as though you are suddenly using your true driving sense or perception. I used to despise Nordschleife, but now I visit it frequently enough. Experimenting with each vehicle.
It’s hard to put into words how amazing it is, wheel setup, VR2, headphones, and cocooned in your car. especially the Spa one-hour race. Driving in the middle of the night, alone, in the dark, in the rain, with noises everywhere, etc.
It’s amazing. Playing a game no longer feels as much like an experience.
I’m no longer able to drive a car that isn’t VR. Since then, I’ve tried a few and uninstalled them after a brief trial.
hardly played any other virtual reality games. I just started playing re4. But because I usually play GT7, it’s very sporadic. and a pancake game of the highest caliber. Recently, RDR2 was finished.
I must say that I find the GT7 session sufficient. Wearing a headset for hours on end is a little unsettling. Nicely sprawled on the couch while watching TV. feels less demanding, more soothing, and less “frazzled” than virtual reality games. as absurd as that may seem.
Much of the catalog is completely unappealing. It appears to be a ton of garbage that people entertain because there aren’t many options, and I’m not inclined to try. To be honest, I’d rather play a top-tier pancake game.
