But the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% keyboard was one of the releases that stuck with me till way after the event.
The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% is a wireless, hot-swappable gaming keyboard with an OLED screen.
This isn’t Razer’s first hot-swappable mechanical keyboard.
The predecessor to this keyboard, the BlackWidow V4, was the company’s debut gaming keyboard with hot-swappable keys, though that was a wired model.
Razer also isn’t out-innovating competitor gaming peripheral brands with the OLED display.
The OLED display is situated next to a Command Dial that lets you scroll through settings and have your actions show up on the screen.
Offering multi-point connectivity, the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% can wirelessly connect to up to three devices simultaneously, even while it’s being charged.
Enabling the Power Saving Mode on the device turns the OLED display and RGB off, and pauses communication with the Razer Synapse companion app.
The endless gamut of personalization possibilities that come with a hot-swappable keyboard is huge.
The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% is now open for pre-orders on the Razer site and in Razer stores.

Last week at RazerCon, Razer unveiled a number of new products. It was a busy two hours spent visiting tables, I assure you. However, one of the releases that stayed with me long after the event was the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% keyboard. I was pestering my coworker to look at all of the pictures on my phone even after a whole week had passed.

A wireless gaming keyboard with an OLED screen that can be hot-swapped is called the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%. Because it’s hot-swappable, you can customize it by changing out all of the switches and keycaps. This is not the first hot-swappable mechanical keyboard made by Razer. The BlackWidow V4, which was a wired model, was the company’s first gaming keyboard with hot-swappable keys. Neither is Razer out-innovating rival brands of gaming peripherals with OLED displays. One is available already with the SteelSeries Apex Pro.

The new Razer keyboard also features 4K Hz HyperPolling and exclusive HyperSpeed technology. This device’s Chroma RGB is rather common to many other Razer keyboards. You receive both a two-side underglow and per-key lighting. To alter the lighting and create different lighting profiles, utilize the Razer Chroma app. A thick, plush leatherette wrist rest with plenty of cushioning magnetically fastens to the device’s underside.

Beside the OLED screen is a Command Dial that allows you to navigate through settings and see the results of your actions on the screen. The dial and display let you quickly check keyboard-related or PC-related statistics and quickly adjust keyboard settings like RGB Chroma profiles and polling rate.

The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% can wirelessly connect to up to three devices at once thanks to multi-point connectivity, even while it is charging. However, it’s unlikely that you will reach for a socket very frequently. The device’s OLED display, RGB, and connection to the Razer Synapse companion app are all turned off when the Power Saving Mode is activated. In this mode, it apparently lasts 2,100 hours before you’re tethered to a socket again.

Though 3- and 5-pin mechanical switches can be used in their stead, Razer’s most recent keyboard comes with its own Orange Tactile Switches Gen-3. A few YouTubers whose channels focus on customizing keyboards received this keyboard in advance, and some of them attended the demo to show off their finished products. The range of designs was really fascinating to look at. There is an enormous range of customization options available with a hot-swappable keyboard.

Pre-orders for the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% are currently being accepted on the Razer website and in Razer stores. It will go on sale on September 24 and retail for $300.
