Recently, Google released the Pixel 9 Pro XL, the newest member of the Pixel family. The troll in me wants to see if, in a blind test, fans of the iPhone would prefer the Android device over their cherished Apple smartphone, especially when it comes to photography.
I’ll be honest: before testing the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, I was certain that my iPhone 15 Pro Max would destroy it in a camera test. (Even though the Pixel family is known for producing amazing images, when I compared the Pixel 8 Pro vs. Compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I found the latter to be more impressive. Nevertheless, when I tested the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL’s cameras against those of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I was shocked by how well it performed.
I conducted seven blind tests with five sets of images to see what the opinions of iPhone aficionados would be. Stay tuned for the outcome.

Regarding the primary wide camera lens on both phones, this is what we currently have:.
