Smart TVs and streaming devices are examples of connected devices. Look through the settings on these devices and choose the option to turn off ad tracking or automatic content recognition. Such devices usually require you to disable features like “interest-based advertising,” “interactive TV,” or “smart interactivity” or choose options like “limit ad tracking” in order to opt out. The type of device affects these settings.
Cross-Device Tracking You can use the different methods mentioned above to opt out of our browser-based cross-device tracking for advertising purposes. On every device and browser you use, you have to opt out separately. Please visit the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative for additional details on cross-device matching. Even if you choose not to allow cross-device tracking for advertising, we might still use it for analytics or other purposes.
