Plans change, especially over at Xbox, and this is all just rumoured information at this stage.
Go ahead and discuss the latest Xbox & Switch 2 rumours down below.
Nintendo formally revealed the Switch 2, its upcoming console, last week. It is scheduled to launch globally in 2025. Following that announcement, we mentioned that we would like to see Microsoft provide the console with significant support in the form of new Xbox ports, and it appears that this could soon become a reality.
The well-known leaker eXtas1s released a new video today that covers everything related to Switch 2. There are several games titled “that could be coming to the new machine” that discuss Xbox’s possible plans for the Nintendo system. “I’ve heard about the games that could be coming,” the insider states, mentioning Xbox games that may be coming to the Switch 2 such as Starfield, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Diablo 4.
Some of these titles, though, seem to give eXtas1s more confidence than others. According to the source, he has “been told Diablo 4 is already in the works for Nintendo Switch 2” (thanks to VGC), and his references to Halo and MSFS are further confirmations of what fellow leaker NateTheHate recently revealed. Though the insider didn’t appear to have as much specific information about those two Bethesda games, Fallout 4 and Starfield were also mentioned.
Anyway, these ports are probably worth keeping in mind, but they shouldn’t be taken as gospel, especially considering eXtas1s’ respectable track record (particularly with regard to Game Pass leaks). Plans can change, particularly at Xbox, and at this point, all of this is merely conjecture.
