Not to exaggerate, this puzzle is extremely challenging today. Almost entirely wordless, making it one of the most difficult things I have ever done. You will witness.
The Strands Game Guide.
A variation on the traditional word search is the Strands puzzle from the New York Times. Since it’s currently in beta, its survival depends on how many people use it each day.
Every day, there is a new Strands game to play. You will see a six-by-eight grid of letters in the game. The goal is to identify a group of words that share a common theme so that you can determine what that theme is. The theme word will continue to be highlighted in blue once you locate it.
You must also locate a spangram, which is a special word. What the words have in common is revealed by this. The spangram connects the board’s two opposing sides. The spangram may be a proper name, but the theme words will not be. It will continue to be highlighted in yellow once you locate the spangram.
Each letter appears once in a spangram or theme word. Vertical, horizontal, and diagonal letter connections are all possible, as is direction switching within a word. Double tapping the final letter will submit your guess if you’re using a touchscreen.
The Hint button will become available if you can identify three legitimate words with at least four letters that are not related to the theme. The letters that comprise one of the theme words will be highlighted when you click this.
Watch out: You’ll need to be alert. You may occasionally need to add the word or words that are missing from a phrase. On other days, the game might focus on homophones or synonyms. Every day will have a different level of difficulty, and the puzzle designers will occasionally try to surprise you.

It’s without exaggeration to say that this is one of the most difficult puzzles I’ve ever completed because the majority of the words aren’t even real for you to try to unscramble. had no idea that a Zorse, a real-life hybrid of a horse and a zebra, existed. Figuring out athleisure was nearly impossible. Today is just a crazy puzzle.
