And to celebrate the launch, Apple has made its iconic Fifth Avenue store in New York glow in the colors of Apple Intelligence.
Apple Fifth Avenue ready for iPhone 16 As noted by customers who went to Apple Fifth Avenue on Thursday night to be among the first to buy an iPhone 16 on Friday morning, Apple has put special lights on the store’s iconic cube.
Despite all the iPhone 16 marketing campaigns showing Apple Intelligence features, the AI features won’t be available until next month, when Apple releases iOS 18.1.
In the US, prices for the iPhone 16 start at $799, while the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999.
The iPhone 16 is quickly approaching. The new iPhones will go on sale tomorrow, September 20, one week after pre-orders opened last week. And to commemorate the launch, Apple has lit up the colors of Apple Intelligence on its famous Fifth Avenue store in New York.
Apple Fifth Avenue is prepared for the upcoming iPhone 16.
As observed by patrons who visited Apple Fifth Avenue on Thursday evening in order to purchase an iPhone 16 early on Friday morning, Apple has added unique lighting to the store’s recognizable cube. The cube glows in the same hues as the new Siri interface, which is one of the standout features of the newest iPhones and is powered by Apple Intelligence.
The cube has stickers that read “iPhone 16” and “Hello Apple Intelligence” in addition to the lights. Apple has changed its Fifth Avenue location to showcase a new product on previous occasions. To celebrate the product’s launch earlier this year, Apple placed a massive Vision Pro atop the cube.
The AI features won’t be accessible until Apple releases iOS 18.1 next month, despite all of the iPhone 16 marketing campaigns showcasing the AI features. Still, some features won’t be available, like the more sophisticated Siri, Genmoji, and Image Playgrounds.
Writing Tools, audio transcription, article and notification summarization, and Clean Up in the Photos app are the initial set of Apple Intelligence tools included with iOS 18.1.
US English will be the initial language in which Apple Intelligence is accessible. More languages, including Chinese, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, will be available next year. The company plans to add support for additional English dialects later this year with iOS 18.2.
The starting price of the iPhone 16 in the United States is $799, whereas the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999.
