Mobile Settings: Through the device’s settings, you can control how location data is collected and how much information is used for interest-based advertising in mobile apps. You can choose to disable Nielsen or other third-party mobile ad tracking by going to your device settings and choosing the “Limit Ad Tracking” (for iOS devices) or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” (for Android devices) options.

Smart TVs and streaming devices are examples of connected devices. Look through the settings on these devices and choose the option to turn off ad tracking or automatic content recognition. Such devices usually require you to disable features like “interest-based advertising,” “interactive TV,” or “smart interactivity” or choose options like “limit ad tracking” in order to opt out. Device type affects these settings.

Cross-Device Tracking: You can use the different techniques mentioned above to choose not to have your browser track you across devices for advertising purposes. On every device and browser you use, you have to opt out separately. We may still use cross-device tracking for analytics and other purposes even if you choose not to have it used for advertising.
