Houston Texans at New York Jets (-2) Thursday, 8:15 p.m.
ET (CBS, Paramount+) The Bears are out on the road for a second straight week after losing on a Hail Mary to the Commanders last week.
Pick: Eagles 33, Jaguars 19 Detroit Lions (-3.5) at Green Bay Packers Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
Los Angeles Rams (-1.5) at Seattle Seahawks Sunday, 4:25 p.m.
Pick: Rams 34, Seahawks 27 Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings (-5) Sunday, 8:20 p.m.
This is as bad as it gets, or at least as bad as I can hope.
The last two weeks, I have made terrible picks. My season record now stands at 56-64-3 after I went 5-11 in my sports betting against the spread last week. The past month has been dreadfully awful. Not bad, considering I was 9-7 straight up to raise that score to 68-55-0.
October was a huge disappointment in terms of the ATS selections. So let’s turn this around and put that in the past.
This week has a lot of exciting games, including some major ones, but it’s also important to keep an eye on a few quarterback injuries. I tried my best to consider that when making my selections, but does it really matter the way I’m going?
It does now.
It’s time for a surge—November.
Here we go, as Dak Prescott likes to yell.

(-2) Houston Texans vs. New York Jets.
8:15 p.m. on Thursday. A. ET, or Prime Video.
Since making the trade for Davante Adams, the Jets have lost two straight games and five overall, so they need to start winning. They can still qualify for the playoffs even though the division is over. but only if they initiate an offensive. Aaron Rodgers will find a way to make it better, so they will do it in this one. The Texans are currently without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs, and they have offensive line problems.
Pick: Texans 23; Jets 31.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Dallas Cowboys (-2.5).
Sunday at 1 p.m. m. ET: Try it for free, Fox and Fubo.
The Falcons are back home after defeating Tampa Bay, while the Cowboys are playing back-to-back road games after being dominated by the 49ers. Defensive problems will be evident in this game for both teams. As the Falcons win a close game, expect both offenses to make some big plays.
Pick: Cowboys 32, Falcons 33.
-9-5 Denver Broncos vs. Baltimore Ravens.
Sunday at 1 p.m. A. (Paramount+, CBS) ET.
Surprisingly, this is one of the week’s better games. Because of the defense, the Broncos are 5-3. But every week, Bo Nix gets better. It’s difficult for the Denver defense because the Ravens can score on anyone. Lamar Jackson and the offense, in my opinion, get back on track, and the defense performs better than it has in recent games.
Ravens 27, Broncos 17.
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins (-6).
1 p.m. on Sunday. m. CBS, Paramount+, ET.
After losing to Arizona in Tua Tagovailoa’s return game last week, the Dolphins are playing for their season here. The Bills are coming off consecutive landslides against the Seahawks and Titans. As long as Josh Allen owns them, they will continue to dominate the Dolphins. It will be another great day for him.
Dolphins 23, Bills 32, pick.

Carolina Panthers (-7) vs. New Orleans Saints.
1 p.m. on Sunday. M. CBS, Paramount+, ET.
Given that both teams have three wins apiece, this is the week’s dog game. Both teams have suffered from injuries. Derek Carr may return for the Saints, but the starting quarterbacks for both teams are still up in the air. It makes no difference. Regardless of the quarterback, they are the superior team. Carolina is not good.
Select: Panthers 13, Saints 23.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Las Vegas Raiders (-7.5).
Sunday at 1 p.m. A. ET (Try Fox and Fubo for free).
An outcome is desperately needed for these two. In last week’s home loss to the Eagles, the Bengals looked terrible. Here, they will improve. The Raiders’ offensive capabilities are insufficient to stay competitive. Joe Burrow versus. Minshew Gardner. There is a mismatch.
Bengals 30, Raiders 20 is the pick.
Cleveland Browns vs. Los Angeles Chargers (-2).
1 p.m. on Sunday. A. CBS, Paramount+, ET.
Last week, the Browns showed vitality by defeating the Ravens after starting Jameis Winston in place of Deshaun Watson. Winston will face the Chargers, who have played excellent defense this season. Justin Herbert will win the game on the road after the Chargers manage to contain Winston.
Browns 20, Chargers 21 is the pick.
Washington Commanders at the New York Giants (-3.5).
Sunday at 1 p.m. M. ET (Try Fox and Fubo for free).
Washington won the first meeting between these two in the second week of the season, 21–18, and this is their second meeting. The Commanders have risen since then, while the Giants have retreated. In addition to Jayden Daniels recovering from his rib injury for another week, the Commanders defense is making significant progress, which will benefit the offense. They take it, commanders.
Giants 17, Commanders 30.

-3.5 New England Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans.
One o’clock on Sunday. m. ET (Fox, try it for free).
Both of these quarterback injuries are worth keeping an eye on. Drake Maye, a rookie in New England, sustained a concussion last week, and Will Levis is still dealing with shoulder pain. The Patriots defeated the Jets last week, and the Titans have now dropped three straight games. However, regardless of whether it’s Mason Rudolph or Levis, expect the Titans to bounce back in this one.
Pick: Patriots 16, Titans 21.
-1) Arizona Cardinals vs. Chicago Bears.
Sunday at 4:05 p.m. A. (Paramount+, CBS) ET.
The Bears, who lost to the Commanders on a Hail Mary last week, are traveling for the second consecutive week. Returning to action against a rising Cardinals team will be difficult. Watch for Kyler Murray’s strong play to continue. The Bears will lose two in a row to demonstrate the effects of their defeat last week.
Selection: Bears 17, Cardinals 24.
Bonus: According to the SportsLine model, which has seen a rise of more than $7,000 for $100 players on highly regarded NFL picks since its launch, the Bears will cover against the Cardinals. Visit SportsLine to view the remaining games.
Philadelphia Eagles at Jacksonville Jaguars (-7.5).
4.05 p.m. on Sunday. A. ET (CBS, Paramount+).
While the Eagles are playing well right now, the Jaguars are in disarray. When facing a poor Jacksonville defense, the Philadelphia offense ought to have an absolute blast. Due to its receiver injuries, the Jacksonville offense will not be able to keep up. It’s going to look ugly. The Eagles are currently enjoying success.
Prediction: Jaguars 19, Eagles 33.
Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions (-3.5).
4:25 p.m. on Sunday. A. ET (Fox, try it for free).
Although this is a crucial divisional game, Jordan Love’s injured groin is a major worry for the Packers. He is unlikely to play, so Malik Willis, who is 2-0 as a starter this season, will probably start again. The Packers will have to rely more on the run game as a result. Since the Lions have a dynamic offense, managing the clock is crucial against them. But give me the Lions because I don’t think the Packers will perform well enough without Love.
Lions 29, Packers 23 is the pick.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams (-1.5).
At 4:25 p.m. on Sunday. A. ET (Fox, try it for free).
The Rams’ offense took off last week after they were able to reclaim Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Seattle’s defense has serious problems. In this one, expect Matthew Stafford and the offense to have a big game. Although they will score, the Seattle offense will not be able to keep up. Watching it will be entertaining, but the Rams will prevail.
Selection: Seahawks 27, Rams 34.
(-5) Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts.
Sunday at 8:20 p.m. A. ET (NBC; Fubo is free to try).
The Colts are playing their second straight road game, while the Vikings are back at home after suffering a road loss to the Rams. The Colts will switch to Joe Flacco as their starter, which is likely the best course of action in the near future. The crucial factor here will be how he responds to the Vikings’ pressure looks. Jonathan Taylor should keep them in the game, in my opinion, but the Vikings win it late.
Pick: Colts 24, Vikings 28.
Los Angeles Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-9).
Monday evening, 8:15 p.m. A. ET (Fubo try for free, ESPN/ABC).
It will be a difficult test for Tampa Bay’s undermanned offense to play a strong Kansas City defense on the road. The Chiefs’ offense appears to be thriving, but Tampa Bay’s defense has recently struggled greatly. The Chiefs are still working to finish the season unbeaten.
