There is plenty to work on, certainly, but it was good enough for the Seahawks’ third win in a row.

We have gathered the immediate responses from Seattle Sports’ voices to the Hawks’ victory over the Jets, as we do following every Hawks game. This time, Wyman and Bob are joined by the entire crew, including the always educational video from the field provided by former NFL linebacker Dave Wyman, broadcaster for the Seahawks Radio Network.

Even though it’s one of the most ugly, clumsy, and bizarre games we’ve seen in a long time, I’ll take the win!

The Seahawks are the only team leading the NFC West race, but how long will that hold?

Explaining the significance of all those things to someone who didn’t watch the game is difficult. Furthermore, it would take an eternity to correct every error. In the end, the Seahawks were fortunate to be facing a dysfunctional Jets team with a three-win record because the errors they made today would have cost them against almost any other team in the league.

Given that they turned the ball over themselves and allowed a long kickoff return for a touchdown, it was one of the worst special teams days we’ve ever heard. Once more, the offensive line proved to be a liability. Additionally, defensive cornerbacks Josh Jobe and Tariq Woolen had a subpar day.

The Seahawks’ victory over the Jets is almost derailed by special teams issues.

With a 92-yard interception return for a touchdown and two more sacks, defensive end Leonard Williams had another outstanding game. All day long, Safety Julian Love was out there performing plays and displaying a level of physicality that was different from what we had previously witnessed from him. Although there is undoubtedly much room for improvement, it was sufficient for the Seahawks to win three straight games.

As an aside, I believe it was made quite evident why, with all of the talent on their roster, the Jets only manage three wins. They should be given nearly as much credit for the victory as the Seahawks. Ten penalties, including two that prolonged the Hawks’ drive for the game-winning touchdown, were committed in the second half alone. What a day! .

Although it’s a victory, which is always positive, the Seahawks’ defense virtually won this game on its own.

Once again, Leonard Williams was outstanding, and his pick-six altered the course of the match. Wide receivers DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba deserve praise for finding room to make crucial plays to prolong drives, particularly against a Jets defense that came in allowing the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL. Julian Love also flew around making plays.

However, there are several other problems that follow this one. When it comes to short yardage situations, the Seahawks keep making perplexing choices. This team continues to make things that should be simple too difficult, as evidenced by their three 1-yard line passes, refusal to go under center, and constant rotation of running back Zach Charbonnet in and out to the right.

The Jets’ go-ahead touchdown drive against the Seahawks, where it appeared they had made a fpurth-down stop but were called for a horse collar, raises the question of what would happen if they don’t hurt themselves with penalties.

Although Seattle’s special teams have struggled throughout the season, today’s three fumbles (actually two on the stat sheet, both of which were lost) and kickoff return that resulted in a touchdown marked the team’s lowest point. That unit shouldn’t have affected the game so much, but today it helped the Jets score two touchdowns.
