De’Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin are signed by Spurs

Fox is also one of three players in the NBA to have posted 11,000 points, 3,000 assists and 700 steals since 2017, along with Nikola Jokic and Harden.
Originally from Etiwanda, California, McLaughlin played four seasons at the University of Southern California.
Cissoko was drafted by the Spurs in the second round (44th overall) of the 2023 NBA Draft.
In two NBA seasons, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 29 appearances.

In a three-team trade that also included the Chicago Bulls, the San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have acquired guards De’Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin from the Sacramento Kings. In return, the team received Tre Jones, Zach Collins, Sidy Cissoko, two conditional first-round picks (2025 from Chicago, 2025 from Charlotte), two unprotected first-round picks (2027 from San Antonio, 2031 from Minnesota), and two second-round picks (2025 from Chicago, 2028 from Denver).

With an average of 25 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal per game in 37 minutes, Fox, 6-3/190, has played and started in 45 games for the Kings this season. Throughout his eight seasons with the Kings, the Houston native has averaged 21 points, 5 assists, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal in 514 games. With selections to the NBA All-Star team, the All-NBA Third Team, and the NBA’s first-ever Clutch Player of the Year Award, Fox had a breakthrough season in 2022–2023. He led the Kings to their first postseason appearance since 2006 that season, averaging 27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds across seven postseason games.

He is originally from Etiwanda, California.

Jones played his first five seasons in the NBA in San Antonio, where he averaged 8 points, 2 assists, and 4 points in 21 minutes across 279 games (125 starts). The Spurs selected Jones with the 41st pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

In his four seasons with the Silver and Black, Collins averaged 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 points per game. He joined San Antonio in 2021 and played in 196 games, 63 of which were starts.

The Spurs selected Cissoko in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft (44th overall). In 29 games over two NBA seasons, he averaged 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.
