Connected Devices: You should go over the settings on connected devices, like smart TVs or streaming devices, and choose the option that lets you turn off ad tracking or automatic content recognition. Such devices usually require you to disable features like “interest-based advertising,” “interactive TV,” or “smart interactivity” or choose options like “limit ad tracking” in order to opt out. The device type affects these settings.
Cross-Device Tracking You can use the different methods mentioned above to opt out of our browser-based cross-device tracking for advertising purposes. Every device and browser you use requires a separate opt-out. Please check out the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative for additional details on cross-device matching. Even if you choose not to allow cross-device tracking for advertising, we might still use it for analytics or other purposes.
