Akhmadaliev fight card at Nagoya, Japan’s IG Arena on Sunday morning. The main event of the evening features Inoue defending his undisputed super bantamweight title against Akhmadaliev, his mandatory opponent.

Two-division undisputed champion Inoue (30-0, 27 KOs) is ranked No. 1 on Uncrowned. two-pound-for-pound combatant worldwide. In January, he defeated Ye Joon Kim, a late-replacement opponent, to successfully defend his titles. In a thrilling match in Las Vegas last May, Inoue had to get up off the ground to defeat Ramon Cardenas.

Inoue’s third fight of 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, and if he wins, a fourth fight against Alan Picasso is scheduled for December.

Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 KOs) is the mandatory challenger and the WBA’s interim super bantamweight champion. Before losing to Marlon Tapales in 2023, the Uzbek boxer had the unified title in the weight class. In December, Akhmadaliev defeated Ricardo Espinoza in the third round after regaining the mandatory position and winning the interim strap. In his last match, which took place in May, Akhmadaliev defeated Luis Castillo.
