The #5 ranked Miami Hurricanes handled #18 USF today/tonight at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL, 49-12.
With a second win over a ranked team, Miami should be in the top three tomorrow, but we’ll see.
He looked as good as he ever has in a Miami uniform.
Besides the stats, he was chasing USF quarterback Byrum Brown in the backfield on a consistent basis.
One interception was a tipped ball and the other one was a great play by the USF defender.
Today/tonight at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, the fifth-ranked Miami Hurricanes defeated 18 USF 49–12. Whoa… The Canes likely left a score or two out there, but that was a thumping. We’ll see, but Miami should be in the top three tomorrow after their second victory over a ranked team.
Let’s talk about the game’s three main stars.
1. Mark Fletcher Jr.
This evening, Fletch was Miami’s true lead back. Statistics: 25 yards, 2 receptions, 3 touchdowns, 121 yards, and 16 rushes. In the first half, he established the mood. On every carry, he ran hard. He was very secure with the ball. He got as much yard as he could. He had an advantage when it came to passing. In a Miami uniform, he looked better than ever. The fact that Mark Fletcher Jr. performed so well tonight overshadowed my disappointment at not seeing Jordan Lyle on the field. played.
2. Rueben Bain Jr.
Bain is among Miami’s most effective defensive coordinators in recent years. His playing is amazing. I adore how much he is concerned. He inspires his teammates, and I adore that. He is amazing. For the upcoming season, I hope he returns. Alright, that will do. Mike, stop being so avaricious and enjoy him while you can. Tonight, the Canes had six tackles overall, led by the future NFL first-round selection. He had both a pass defended and a TFL. In addition to the numbers, he was regularly pursuing USF quarterback Byrum Brown in the backfield. Having Rueben Bain Jr. is wonderful. I support the college football team.
3. . Carson Beck. .
I am aware that Beck was responsible for Miami’s first two errors this evening. Anyhow. The USF defender made a fantastic play on one interception, and the other was a tipped ball. I’m really impressed with Miami’s new signal caller thus far this season. His stats are as follows: 23-28, 340 yards, 3 touchdowns, 28 yards of rushing, and 1 touchdown. Not much better can be found than that. It’s amazing how Beck led the Canes down the field for the first drive touchdown and then again following the first punt by USF. Gaining a 14-0 lead was significant, and Beck’s mastery of the offense played a major role.
Honorable mention:.
Miami’s large freshman wide receiver target, Joshua Moore, had two touchdown-converting receptions for 47 yards today.
Malachi Toney: This young, explosive freshman is still making an impression. In the end, he caught six passes for 66 yards. Additionally, he almost returned a punt for a touchdown.
I adore Jakobe Thomas’s style of playing. He is intelligent, a sure tackler, and he comes up and hits. He had four total tackles for the day. Coach Cristobal made a fantastic defensive pickup.

GO, CANES!
