While we await a launch date, a leak has revealed renders of the Motorola Edge 2025 that will be sold in the US.
Shared on X by Evan Blass (@evleaks), the official renders and promotional images show the 2025 model of the Motorola Edge from various angles.
The images reveal the Motorola Edge 2025 will retain the design of its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 2024, at least on the front.
The Motorola Edge 2025 is shown to have a curved display with a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera.
Unlike last year’s Motorola Edge, the Motorola Edge 2025 will have three rear cameras.
Europe and Asia are among the markets where the Motorola Edge 60 series has already debuted. The Edge model for North America this year has not yet been revealed by Motorola, though. Renders of the Motorola Edge 2025 that will be available for purchase in the US have been leaked while we wait for a launch date.
The 2025 Motorola Edge model is depicted from a variety of perspectives in the official renders and promotional photos that Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted on X. According to the pictures, the Motorola Edge 2025 will, at least on the front, continue to use the same design as its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 2024. The major shift, though, is in the back.
According to the images, the Motorola Edge 2025 has a curved screen with a front-facing camera punch hole in the middle. Along with an extra button on the left, the curved frame also houses the power and volume buttons on the right. From the previous year’s model, this key—known as the Quick Button—resurfaces. It functions as a shortcut key for starting pre-installed apps or performing tasks like opening your email app or turning your phone into a webcam for your piece.
The Motorola Edge 2025 will have three rear cameras, in contrast to the previous model. The camera island is significantly larger as a result of the new sensor and the updated LED flash. The Edge 2025 will be available in Pantone and feature a faux leather finish, just like other Motorola smartphones that were unveiled this year.
According to the renders, the Motorola Edge 2024 will only be offered in Midnight Blue, so it’s possible that the green version, which is comparable to the Moto G 2025 (which retails for $199 on Amazon), will be the only color choice.
Although the phone’s specifications are unknown, we can anticipate that it will have a large battery, support for at least 68W fast charging, 15% wireless charging, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an OLED display with a high refresh rate. Additionally, it ought to run Android 15 right out of the box.
Additionally, the Motorola Edge 2025’s debut date is not specified, but given that the previous model was released in June and the timing of this leak, it’s possible that the phone will be released soon.
