The NES40 version of the Ultimate 2 controller, which is one of our favorite controllers for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, has tons of customization options, TMR joysticks, and Hall Effect triggers with mode switching. Made completely of aluminum alloy, the Retro 68 Keyboard is 8BitDo’s first 68-key keyboard. The company claims that this covers the shell, keycaps, and buttons. Switches called Kailh Box Ice Cream Pro Max are utilized. The keyboard has programmable wireless dual Super Buttons and is colored like the NES, just like its comparable but far less costly Retro Mechanical Keyboard. 8BitDo claims that its 6500mAh battery allows it to run for up to 300 hours between charges. It will likely be available for purchase in January 2026 and is compatible with both Windows and Android.
The Retro Cube 2 speaker offers some enhancements in terms of functionality and battery life in addition to being a purely aesthetic update to the original Cube Speaker. The dual-speaker system has three connection modes — Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless and wired USB — and comes with a charging dock. Its 2000mAh battery lasts for up to 30 hours between charges. It features D-pad controls for volume, playback, and pairing, just like the previous model. On December 12, the $50 speaker will be shipped.
