Promises made by Apple Intelligence still haven’t fully arrived for users, and a year later, it seems iPhone users will keep waiting.
The Made by Google X account posted the company’s latest #BestPhonesForever episode, “Generation Gap,” which poked fun at Apple’s AI intelligence.
Apple’s iPhone wound up explaining that it’s not only trying to teach its chickens how to sing, but it’s trying to teach turtles how to run a bank, too.
Apple’s AI struggles Apple unveiled its iPhone 17 series earlier this week, but its AI intelligence software wasn’t as far in the front as it probably would’ve liked.
The most recent BestPhonesForever episode from Google, “Generational Gap,” made fun of Apple’s iPhone 17 series’ lack of AI intelligence.
The Google Pixel told them that the videos were created by Gemini, even though the iPhone in the episodes was attempting to teach turtles how to operate a bank and chickens how to sing.
Apple Intelligence’s promises have yet to be fully fulfilled for users, and it appears that iPhone users will continue to wait a year later.
Google has already jumped to another BestPhonesForever event after Apple’s iPhone 17 event ended this week.
The company’s most recent BestPhonesForever episode, “Generation Gap,” which ridiculed Apple’s AI intelligence, was shared on the Made by Google X account. As if it were at a carnival, Google Pixel discovered Apple’s iPhone in a batch of chicken feed while the adorable animals ran around in the background. Apple’s iPhone ultimately revealed that it is attempting to teach turtles how to manage a bank in addition to teaching its chickens how to sing.
Both goals were recognizable to Google’s Pixel, which flashed Gemini-generated video clips. The Google Pixel did what the iPhone believed it did. not a product of its artificial intelligence.
In a subtle jab at what has actually been bothering Apple, the iPhone was forced to start over. According to Google’s tagline, “When iPhone’s plans go awry, Pixel quickly generates some helpful advice,” further prods the bear. “.
Apple’s AI struggles.
Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the iPhone 17 series, but its AI software wasn’t as prominent as it likely would have wanted. Apple Intelligence kind of retreated, snatching up minor improvements over what users can currently experiment with (though it’s still not everything). Among other things, Apple introduced Live Translation for text and audio and the new Liquid Glass design.
The problem is that, despite Apple’s announcement of AI intelligence for iPhone users a year ago, they have yet to receive all of the promised benefits. Actually, the majority of those features have not yet been released. Due to that setback, things will probably take another year to complete. Not that Apple lacks a strong, distinct vision for what its AI intelligence should look like—quite the contrary. However, some people are wondering if Apple should just settle with Gemini because of the delays and issues it’s having.
