FBI deputy director says bureau will pour resources into cases including Supreme Court leak and cocaine at the White House

A third case Bongino said would be further reviewed was the 2022 leak of the unpublished Supreme Court decision ending federal protections for abortion rights.
That probe was closed after a roughly eight-month investigation which included forensic analysis but was unable to identify a person responsible.
“We made the decision to either re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention, to these cases,” Bongino wrote in a post on X.
Bongino has also questioned the discovery of the bag of cocaine that was uncovered in the White House in July 2023, suggesting shortly after the incident that the cocaine belonged to a Biden family member.
He wrote then on X, “there’s absolutely ZERO chance anyone other than a family member brought that cocaine inside the White House complex.”

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino announced Monday that his agency will resurrect or invest more resources in a number of investigations into unresolved cases from the Biden administration that have “garnered public interest” and have long sparked allegations of corruption by Trump’s supporters and allies.

Three cases, according to Bongino, indicated “potential public corruption,” including an investigation into two pipe bombs discovered close to the Republican Party headquarters and the Democratic Party headquarters in January. 6, 2021, and the 2023 White House cocaine bag discovery.

Bongino stated that the 2022 leak of the Supreme Court’s unpublished ruling terminating federal protections for abortion rights would be the third case that would be examined further. After an investigation that lasted about eight months and involved forensic analysis, the probe was closed because no one was found to be accountable.

In an X post, Bongino stated, “We decided to either re-open, or push additional resources and investigative attention, to these cases.”.

“Every week, I receive requested briefings on these cases, and we are making progress,” he continued.

The cases are receiving more attention as the bureau is under pressure to look into allegations that the Biden administration and deep state actors used the Justice Department as a weapon. Bongino and other Trump supporters have promoted these claims.

Prior to his swearing-in earlier this year, Bongino claimed that the FBI had lied about not knowing who the pipe bomber was, claiming that the agency “just doesn’t want to tell us because it was an inside bid.”. “.”.

Video connected to the pipe bombs was made public by the FBI in January. It purportedly showed a masked suspect setting off bombs outside the Democratic and Republican headquarters in Washington the day before the Capitol riot.

In addition, Bongino has questioned the finding of the cocaine bag in the White House in July 2023, implying shortly after the incident that the cocaine belonged to a member of the Biden family. There is absolutely no possibility that anyone other than a family member brought that cocaine into the White House complex, he wrote on X at the time. “,”.
