American Idol and The Voice won’t be the only high-profile singing competitions on-air next season.
CBS has handed a series order to The Road — a new reality series executive-produced by Voice alum Blake Shelton and Yellowstone mastermind Taylor Sheridan — which is on track for a Fall 2025 debut.
“I know a thing or two about singing competitions and what it’s like to chase a music dream and live life on tour.

He also serves as an EP on the CMT horse-riding competition series The Last Cowboy, which returns for Season 5 on Friday, Nov. 15.
