The tenth season of Overwatch 2 will debut on April 16 and include the addition of Venture, a non-binary damage hero, to the roster following their test phase last month. Season 10’s main attraction is the drill-based brawler, called Venture Forth, but a cool standout is a special, limited-time event. During the Mirrorwatch event, which runs from April 23 to May 13, Blizzard will turn some of its most well-known heroes into villains and vice versa.

Skins for Brigitte, Reinhardt, and Tracer—members of Talon, the rival group in the Overwatch universe—will be available throughout the season. In the meantime, the quintessential Overwatch blue and white outfits for Doomfist, Widowmaker, and Sombra will be unveiled. These remixed teams will compete against one another in a PvP event that will alter specific character kits’ abilities. With his newfound shield, Doomfist is able to protect his allies. It is wonderful to see.

This season’s customizable Mythic Skin is being given to Mercy in keeping with the themed. Vengeance Mercy, who plays Overwatch’s flying doctor as a Talon agent, appears to be a lot more vengeful and cruel than the kind and compassionate person she usually is. Although Mercy players always get to pick and choose who they help, you don’t expect to hear the good doctor herself say that in the trailer when she says that “she decides” who she will actually heal. Other Mirrorwatch skins will be distributed throughout the pass and store, with this being the prize awarded at the conclusion of the battle pass for season 10.

Speaking of one-time events, Blizzard is currently testing the new Clash mode that was unveiled at last year’s Blizzcon. Players can test out the new Hanaoka map, which reimagines the Hanamura map from the original Overwatch for a different game type, from April 16 to April 29. Teams must alternate between five objective capture points in Clash until one team holds possession of all five.
