But I wanted to actually just say, I love this man, I care about this man.
“I love you, Ryan Reynolds, I love you, man,” the Oscar winner stated, teasing him for placing as his fifth best friend.
You all chose to be here with us on our first night at Radio City,” he began, visibly holding back tears.

The Marvel men are back together.

In the midst of Hugh Jackman and his wife Blake Lively’s contentious legal dispute with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni, Ryan Reynolds made an appearance at his concert in New York City.

When Reynolds, 48, stood up in the audience for an unplanned “Hugh and A” session on Friday during the first night of the Broadway veteran’s concert series “From New York, With Love,” he shocked the crowded Radio City Music Hall. “”.

In the show, Jackman, 56, performs songs from some of his most well-known stage and film roles, such as “The Music Man,” “Les Misérables,” “The Greatest Showman,” and “The Boy From Oz.”. “”.

“I was told this was going to be a comedy version of ‘Les Mis’ as a one-man show,” Reynolds joked, bringing his trademark sense of humor to the conversation, according to People. Even though we all agreed it was a bad idea, he persisted. I see that he has once again cheated on me.

The Canadian actor, however, took a moment after making a few jokes to give a moving speech in honor of his “Deadpool & Wolverine” co-star.

Reynolds recalled, “This was the first big-name movie star I ever worked with, 16 or 17 years ago on ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine.'”. I was still young, too. I was gullible. I had no idea what was going to happen, and I was expecting to go to this movie set with this guy right here. However, if you’re trying to advance in the field, what I witnessed was pretty much the best thing anyone could imagine. “”.

Jackman was “a movie star, a capital M movie star,” the father of four continued.

Even though he was making things up half the time, Reynolds added, “I saw this gentleman walk around that set and just like here, he knew every single person’s name.”. He treated every crew member we worked with with consideration and with a certain level of civility, gentleness, and curiosity. “.”.

The former “Spirited” star referred to Jackman as “my gotcha for life.”. “”.

“I really do mean it,” said Reynolds. It’s like a struggle when these two security gentlemen try to take the mic for me. After that, they tase me and I fall, hog-tie me, and then they put me in the Radio City music garbage dump before setting it on fire. I know we were meant to finish this part. However, I really just wanted to express that I care about and love this man. He truly is the greatest person I have ever met. In addition, I have four children.

Jackman immediately returned the friend’s sentiments.

“I love you, Ryan Reynolds, I love you, man,” the Oscar winner said, making fun of him for being his fifth best friend. I appreciate you coming. Also, thank you for requesting a complimentary ticket. “.”.

Jackman also spoke briefly about how grateful he is to have starred in “From New York, With Love.”. “”.

“I want to thank you again, just like I did at the beginning. You all made the decision to join us on our first night at Radio City,” he said, clearly trying not to cry. “My dream was to perform here, and I hosted the Tony Awards here 22 years ago. I appreciate your presence. “.”.

Fans’ demand for tickets for Jackman’s show, which was initially scheduled to run for 12 shows, was overwhelming. Over the course of eight weekends in April, May, June, July, August, September, and October, the actor will now have 24 engagements scheduled.

Reynolds’s appearance coincides with a sour legal dispute with 40-year-old Baldoni, who directed and costarred with 37-year-old Lively in “It Ends With Us.”. “”.

Last week, Baldoni’s lawyers filed a $400 million lawsuit alleging that the former “Gossip Girl” star took specific actions to obtain control over the 2024 movie.
