Local police in Chile found three watches from “John Wick” actor Keanu Reeves’ luxury watch collection believed to have been stolen during a break-in at his Los Angeles home in late 2023, according to a report.
The watches were found as Chilean authorities raided several homes belonging to suspects in the burglary as part of a joint investigation with US law enforcement officials.
Reeves had gifted the same type of watch to the stuntmen involved in “John Wick: Chapter 4″ in 2021.
Chilean authorities said they found jewelry and other “valuable” watches during raids conducted at four houses.
Chilean authorities were working with US officials to try and connect the watch to the 2023 burglary at Reeves’ home.
A report claims that three watches from “John Wick” actor Keanu Reeves’ expensive watch collection were discovered by Chilean police during a break-in at his Los Angeles residence in late 2023.
As part of a joint investigation with US law enforcement, Chilean authorities discovered the watches during raids on multiple residences owned by burglary suspects.
According to CNN Chile, a Rolex Submariner watch that was found during the Saturday raid and valued at about $9,000 had Reeves’ first name and the words “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five” engraved on the watchband.
In 2021, Reeves gave the same kind of watch to the stuntmen who worked on “John Wick: Chapter 4.”.
During raids at four homes, Chilean authorities claimed to have discovered jewelry and other “valuable” watches.
CNN Chile reported that they claimed one of the timepieces found belonged “to a famous actor who was victim of a robbery in Los Angeles in December 2023.”.
Authorities from Chile and the United States were attempting to link the watch to the 2023 break-in at Reeves’ residence.
Over the years, there have been numerous attempts to break into the actor’s house, sometimes by irascible fans but also by real criminals who want to steal.
In 2014, his house was even broken into twice in three days.
At the time of the 2023 break-in, when a group of masked men broke through a window to enter his home, only a gun was confirmed to have been taken.
CNN Chile reported that a 21-year-old man was taken into custody by police in relation to the raid.
