Before you could say, “Jamie, don’t,” Jamie had antagonized the detective and made himself look hella shady in the process.
“But I will now.” While Jamie frantically started shredding papers, Dillard filled in Kayce, whose old army buddy then pointed him in Grant’s direction.
‘ALL I EVER NEED IS TIME AND YOU’ | Having heard about Colby, Beth sought out Carter and found him in the tack room.
“You know what your daddy does for a living?” With that, Kayce proceeded to strike a deal with Grant: He’d leave Grant’s family alone if Grant would leave his alone.
Kayce had nothing to worry about, Grant swore; everything was bottled up.
Another death on Yellowstone, another week. In Sunday’s tragic episode, whose ticket was punched, and how far did Kayce go to make sure his wouldn’t be next? Continue reading.
“HE IS A COWBOY, SUFFERING’S THE JOB” | At the beginning of “Counting Coup,” Colby and Teeter had a cute phone conversation in which the cowboy confessed his love for his marble-mouthed girlfriend. We should have guessed what was going to happen. He persisted, saying, “I’m two coffees away from having this conversation.”. However, it was too late; Teeter was well aware that she had his heart. Tragic events naturally occurred later in the episode. When a particularly obnoxious stud cornered Carter in a stall, Colby stepped in to help. Colby had been kicked to death by the time he had picked up a rifle and set down the horse, even though the boy had only slightly suffered injuries.
And that was only a portion of the ranch’s unusually s—ty day. Other developments include Lloyd being instructed by Rip to get the cattle ready for a dispersal sale. Rip clarified, “We don’t want to give it to Uncle Sam in land because he wants his pound of flesh.”. He even gave Travis a call to request that he sell all of the show horses. Rip stated that he didn’t have the heart to break the news of John’s departure to Jimmy, who was pursuing a career as a horse trainer, and that he didn’t want to speak with him. Travis was left to handle the situation, and at least he could reassure Jimmy that he wouldn’t be fired.
“A BOWL OF CEREAL AIN’T COOKING” | Detective Dillard told Sarah’s lover at Jamie’s that she had been targeted, not killed, in a carjacking. Before you could tell him to stop, Jamie had already irritated the detective and made himself appear very dubious. The “f—king attorney general,” who refused to allow the police to look through Sarah’s possessions, claimed that Dillard was treating him like a suspect. The detective answered, “No, I wasn’t.”. Now, though, I will. Dillard filled in Kayce, whose former army buddy then directed him to Grant, while Jamie began frantically tearing up papers.
Kayce, in turn, warned Beth fairly. “This is going to get out of hand very quickly,” he stated. No matter what they did, they couldn’t allow Jamie to be taken into custody. Beth was aware that if he were in the hot seat for even a single minute, he would divulge all of John’s secrets. However, it appeared that she knew how to deal with that aspect of the matter. She told her brother, “I’m the best f—king liar, and the best lies are 90% true.”. “You let me handle Jamie. (I’ll eat a Stetson if she doesn’t kill him by the end!) Later, Kayce called Mo and requested a favor from Rainwater’s right-hand man, stating that he had realized what he had to do.
“ALL I EVER NEED IS TIME AND YOU” | After learning about Colby, Beth went to look for Carter and discovered him in the tack room. “This room made me fall in love.”. This room is where I became pregnant. She told the boy, “And then I told the love of my life that I never wanted to see him again,” before referring to him as “honey” and urging him not to hold himself responsible for the incident. She even suggested that he stay with his family instead of spending the night there. He declared, “I have no family.”. “Yes, you do,” she answered. And holy shit, was that the most affectionate Beth moment ever?
Then Beth lit a fire in the main house and poured Rip a whiskey, knowing full well that he would be beating himself up too. She informed her husband that throwing a whiskey glass into the fire now results in a large fireball. “You’ll truly feel like you accomplished something.”. As Kayce prepared to embark on a covert mission that evening, he gave Monica two assurances. 1. It’s best for you and us, not the ranch, what I’m doing. “2. He would return the next night. He informed his wife, “I can see it now.”. “I am aware of what to do. Believe in me. And just what was he going to do?
“HAVE FUN EXPLAINING THIS TO YOUR WIFE” | The following day, Kayce got into the car with Grant and his daughter Allie as he drove her home from a soccer game, threatening the young girl with a gun. “You ought to feel afraid,” he informed the child. Kayce then made a deal with Grant: He would leave Grant’s family alone in exchange for Grant leaving his alone. “You know what your daddy does for a living?” Kayce asked. Grant cursed, “Everything was bottled up, so Kayce had nothing to worry about.”. However, Kayce used his gun to hit Grant in the head before he exited the vehicle and was picked up by Mo, taking a piece of his soul in the process.
