According to a former personal assistant of Sean “Diddy” Combs, he also saw the rapper turn violent against his girlfriend Gina.
Cassie Ventura told the jury that Gina, who has not testified in Diddy’s trial, started dating the rapper in April 2014.
George Kaplan talked about an incident in which Combs allegedly threw apples at Gina at his Miami home while he was on the witness stand on Thursday. Kaplan claims that Diddy was hurling green apples at Gina out of rage. The rapper was “throwing them hard,” according to Kaplan. In his testimony, he stated that Gina was attempting to protect herself. Kaplan clarified that he did not step in because, as a young child attempting to succeed in the entertainment business, he briefly believed that this behavior was typical.
According to Kaplan’s testimony, he gave three months’ notice to depart Combs Enterprise in September 2015, one month after Gina’s apple-throwing incident.
Kaplan stated under cross-examination that he was unable to recall whether any of the apples had struck Gina.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’s former assistant, George Kaplan, testified that he left the rapper because he didn’t feel comfortable correcting certain situations.
According to Kaplan, he once noticed Cassie Ventura’s face was bruised. He stated that the second incident, which followed the alleged physical altercation on the flight to Las Vegas in 2015, took place at Diddy’s house.
It is alleged that the singer of “Last Night” called Kaplan on the home’s intercom system. According to Kaplan, he approached the rapper in the bathroom after going through the bedroom. Cassie was on the bed with her head in her hands, according to the former personal assistant’s testimony. Kaplan claimed to have observed Cassie with facial injuries. To lessen swelling, Diddy allegedly asked Kaplan to go get over-the-counter lotion remedies. According to Kaplan’s testimony, he picked them up from CVS.
According to Diddy’s former assistant, he quit his position as Combs’ assistant in December 2015. Using the plane and bedroom incidents as examples, he told the jury that he “was not comfortable, aligned with the physical behavior…” he had witnessed. As Kaplan testified, he didn’t feel comfortable making those things right.

In his testimony on Thursday, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former personal assistant claimed to have seen the rapper turn violently violent toward Cassie Ventura, his now-ex-girlfriend.
Speaking first witness of the day, Kaplan discussed Diddy’s romantic relationships during their time together at work.
Kaplan named Cassie, Gina, and Kim Porter, Diddy’s longtime partner and the mother of his four children. According to Kaplan’s testimony, Porter, who passed away in 2018, was a “very important” figure in Diddy’s life. He identified Gina and Cassie as Combs’ girlfriends.
Even though Kaplan didn’t see Cassie very often, he said he did see Diddy abusing her physically. The former personal assistant claims that the incident happened on Combs’ jet while he was traveling to Vegas in the second half of 2015.
Diddy and Cassie were seated behind a partition, according to Kaplan. “I heard glass break,” Kaplan said. According to his testimony, “there was a glass crash, shatter.”. Diddy was standing over Cassie when Kaplan glanced over his right shoulder. According to rumors, the singer was attempting to make room by lying on her back with her legs up. Kaplan stated that Combs was holding a glass over Cassie. “There was a huge commotion scuffle… Cassie yelled, ‘Isn’t anyone observing this?'” Kaplan said.
“Combs was furious,” Kaplan observed. After turning away, the former assistant claimed to have heard more glass breaking and mayhem. According to Kaplan, no one replied to Cassie. Security is said to have taken no action. During his testimony, Kaplan told the jury, “I was 23 years old…just wanted a job in entertainment.” He claimed he didn’t want to jeopardize his position. In his testimony, he also stated that he refrained from calling the police because doing so would not have been in line with his career goals.

Speaking on Wednesday was a former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“George Kaplan, one of Combs’ other assistants, was forced to testify after the judge granted him immunity,” explained former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani. “Kaplan promised to get Combs some drugs and equip the hotel rooms with Astroglide and baby oil for the freak offs.”. In addition, he would clean up the hotel rooms and drugs after the freak offs. To prove the criminal enterprise for the racketeering charges, this was crucial. “.”.
According to Kaplan, he would clean hotel rooms to preserve Diddy’s reputation. He claimed he didn’t want to be involved in hotels selling pictures or videos to the media in an attempt to make celebrities look bad.
The former assistant also admitted to giving Diddy food, clothing, and occasionally even drugs while he was staying at a hotel. He reported seeing a medicine bag purportedly containing several medications, such as Wellbutrin, Advil, Tylenol, and Ketamine.
He once had to pick up MDMA for Diddy, according to the former employee. For the first time, he knew that Combs was taking MDMA, a stimulant and hallucinogen that is also referred to as molly or ecstasy.

George Kaplan, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant, testified on Wednesday in the rapper’s federal sex crime trial.
Kaplan testified that he started working for Combs Enterprises in 2014 and that among his many duties was carrying bags that held food, computers, iPads, phones, and medications.
As Diddy came to trust him, his duties shifted, and he claimed to have worked between 80 and 100 hours a week for about $125,000 annually.
In his testimony, he claimed that once a month, the disgraced rapper would threaten to fire him for buying the incorrect size water bottle.
As per his testimony, he was responsible for arranging hotel rooms for Diddy, usually with just a few hours’ notice, under the alias Frank Black.
In his testimony, he admitted to using his business credit card to purchase clothing, a speaker, candles, baby oil, and Astroglide for the hotel rooms. During his testimony, he also described seeing energy drinks and, on one occasion, a powder that had crystallized on the bathroom counter in the hotel rooms.
In addition, he allegedly cleaned the hotel rooms after Diddy finished using them. He told the jury that he was attempting to preserve Diddy’s reputation and did not want the hotel to sell pictures or videos of the room to newspapers.
He testified, saying, “I tried to make it appear as close to the way it was found when he came in as possible.”.
“Diddy would have a female partner at the hotels, and they would stay anywhere from 12 hours to a few days,” he explained.
He was also allegedly responsible for picking up drugs for the rapper as part of his job. He said that he once had to pick up MDMA for Diddy and that while in Miami, he was given a number to call and cash. He claimed that when he called, a “guy came” and he paid for the drugs.
Then, Kaplan gave another example, claiming that while staying at the Bel-Air Hotel with Diddy, he was asked to call someone to “pick something up,” and after meeting the person and giving him money from Diddy, he was given a bag to give to the rapper.
Earlier Wednesday, the judge signed an order granting immunity to Diddy’s former assistant.

Dr. Dawn Hughes, a clinical psychologist, gave testimony in court on Wednesday regarding the reasons why victims of abuse continue to live in violent relationships.
Having previously testified against R. Kelly and Johnny Depp, the psychology expert clarified that she was only present to offer “blind testimony” and had not assessed Sean “Diddy” Combs or Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend.
Last week, Cassie gave a testimony regarding the alleged abuse she endured at the hands of her former partner.
“If she didn’t agree to the freak offs, why did Ventura continue to be in such a violent and coercive relationship?” former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani explained. “She provided an answer to one of the case’s most important questions.”.
“Hughes discussed the reasons why victims continue to be in abusive relationships and trauma bonding,” he continued. In order to make their victims feel helpless, abusers employ control and authority. She also discussed how victims cope, how abuse impacts their memory, and why they may go years without seeking assistance or disclosing the abuse. This supported Ventura’s claim that Combs dominated and manipulated every element of her life. “.”.
