Opinion: The Democrats’ lethal anti-fascist role-playing needs to end.

Three fundamental truths about Charlie Kirk’s horrific murder cannot be avoided: the mainstream left has labeled him a fascist for ten years, “Antifa” is a national organization that allegedly fights fascism through terror tactics, and the alleged murderer labeled Kirk a fascist on his shell casing.

But since the horrific killing, Democrats and their media allies have created a damning lie that the shooter was a gamer, a right-winger, or someone who was ironic, rather than a leftist.

It is all utter bullshit. Officials confirmed on Saturday that the assassin was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” a fact that became clear just hours after the murder.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett defends rhetoric like calling Trump ‘wannabe Hitler’ in wake of Kirk shooting.

.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, rejected the idea that far-left rhetoric led to conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s killing, defending her right to refer to President Donald Trump as “wannabe Hitler. “,”.

A national dialogue about political violence has been triggered by Kirk’s death, specifically regarding whether labeling one’s opponents as “fascist” or “Hitler” incites unstable radicals to attack them as lone stars. According to police reports, anti-fascist messages were etched on bullet casings discovered close to Kirk’s murder site.

Republicans have accused Democrats and members of the media of inciting violence by comparing Trump to the Nazi leader since the July 2024 assassination attempt.

But Crockett contended on Friday when she appeared on “The Breakfast Club” that Trump is the one who has encouraged a culture of political violence. In addition to condemning political violence, she also criticized Republicans for “assuming that [the assassin] is someone who came from our side of the aisle.”. “.

Assuming the worst, she said, “even if it came from someone on our side of the aisle, let’s talk about it.”. “We should discuss what “radicalized” him. “,”.

The accused killer of Charlie Kirk faces the death penalty, but as Trump puts more pressure on the court, the bar is high.

.

A tense 33-hour manhunt ended Friday with the arrest of the man suspected of shooting and killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah. Political pressure now determines whether the state will press for capital charges against the suspect.

The 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who is suspected of killing Kirk after traveling almost four hours to Utah Valley University, where the longtime Trump ally was giving a speech, has not yet been charged by prosecutors. The governor of Utah reports that investigators are looking for a note written by Charlie Kirk, an assassination suspect.

Governor of Utah. Although he has refused to provide specifics, Spencer Cox acknowledged that there is a note that Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer wrote before the murder last week.

During a series of Sunday morning appearances on CNN, NBC News, and ABC News, Cox provided an inside look at the investigation by going into detail about Tyler Robinson’s actions on the social media platform Discord. Robinson was reportedly making jokes with friends on the scene who saw that Kirk’s shooter looked like him, according to the governor.

“There is no doubt that those conversations were taking place. And they didn’t think it was him at all—it was all a joke until he acknowledged that it was him,” Cox stated in a different interview with ABC.

After leaving Utah State University, Robinson seemed to become more politically radical, according to Cox.

It appeared to occur somewhat later, following his return to southern Utah. Clearly, there was a lot of gaming going on, friends that have confirmed that there was kind of that deep, dark internet, Reddit culture and these other dark places of the internet where this person was going deep. OPINION: To honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy, we must respect free speech.

.

This passage is taken from one of Jonathan Turley’s opinion pieces.

After an extremist’s unimaginable violent attack, the message “Stand with Charlie!” sprang up all over the world. That was not the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s murder this week, sorry. It was about the murder of employees of the Paris-based satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo ten years ago. World leaders, including the presidents of France, Germany, and Turkey, participated in a march for free speech in spite of their own speech crackdowns, which had previously targeted the victims and the magazine.

Stéphane Charbonnier, the chief editor, had said, “I would rather die standing than live on my knees,” and she had refused to be silenced by the French government. He was one of the first people killed in the office attack, and the first person the gunmen requested.

I described the astounding hypocrisy in my article at the time, pointing out that one of the magazine’s few remaining editors declined to march with those who relentlessly pursued them through criminal investigations. The censorship laws and the prosecution of opinions deemed inflammatory or hateful were expanded by France, Germany, and other Western governments following the march.

In a final betrayal of the Charlie Hebdo employees’ memory, the French authorities went on to use their own killings as an excuse for more speech-related prosecutions.

There is one crucial difference between Kirk’s Wednesday assassination in the US and this one. There will be no “I am Charlie” campaign on the left. Some have even celebrated the killing while others, mouthing regret, attacked Kirk and suggested that he brought this upon himself.

That is hardly a surprise. Kirk spent his tragically short life exposing the hypocrisy and intolerance of the left, particularly in higher education. They hated him for it. Universities and colleges have long been bastions of the left with the purging of conservative or Republican faculty from most departments and the maintenance of an academic echo chamber in classrooms.

Kirk challenged all that. He drove many mad by inviting them to debate issues. The response was often violence, including the trashing of tables his group, Turning Point USA, set up on campus quads. Ultimately, he was killed for insisting on being heard.

Pastor remembers that Charlie Kirk urged young people to reject hookup culture and “sexual anarchy.”.

.

Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk said she has been touched by the stories of people who were motivated to pursue marriage and family by him, a principle of his legacy that disapproved of “sexual anarchy” and hookup culture on college campuses, amid the outpouring of support that followed his assassination this week.

Speaking Friday from the desk where her husband hosted The Charlie Kirk Show, she stated, “I’ve heard the testimonies from people my husband inspired to get married, to start families, to seek out a relationship with God.”.

“He wanted you all to experience what he had — and still has,” Kirk added.

Privately, the father of two told her that, if he ever were to decide to run for political office, “his top priority would be to revive the American family. “.

Kirk, 31, a close ally of President Donald Trump, was shot and killed Wednesday while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Regarding the assassination, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson has been taken into custody.

Kirk cautioned for years about what he called “sexual anarchy,” a rejection of conventional wisdom that he claimed was driven by the left. Kirk gave credit to his friend and pastor David Engelhardt of Kings’ Church in Manhattan for popularizing the phrase in his book “Good Kills,” which reinterprets it as “the motivation to consume for the pleasure of self.”. “.

“Human beings can thrive because of God’s sexual order,” Engelhardt said on Fox News Digital. “When that pattern is broken, chaos ensues. “.

While society tells young people that college is for experimenting sexually, Engelhardt says the church reminds them that such intimacy is not “cheap” and should be valued.

“It’s super valuable because, fundamentally, it’s about the creation of life, and the creation of life is the most important thing we have,” Engelhardt said.

‘Charming, earnest, trusted’: Kirk’s colleagues, friends reflect on an extraordinary American life.

.

Friends and colleagues of late Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk honored his humble beginning, fierce faith and extraordinary life on the primetime special “Charlie Kirk: An American Original. “.

The program wove their anecdotes with flashbacks of Kirk’s own words, including his recounting of what happened after his dream of going to West Point fell through at age 18.

“I remember that summer of 2012, I had no money, no connections and no idea what I was doing,” Kirk said in a 2018 interview. “But I had relentless energy and a vision, and I was willing to take a risk. Only in America is that possible. “.

He credited his own feeling of “isolation” in high school for what inspired him to start a conservative nonprofit to connect like-minded students, and he went viral for debating students on their campuses around the country.

“When Charlie started out with this, this was never about attention or getting on TV or having a show,” OutKick host Tomi Lahren said. “What he wanted most, was he just wanted to spread the message. “.

“If we took a survey right now of 17-, 18-, 19-, 20-year-olds on college campuses and asked them who were the most influential people in their own education, I would probably put Charlie Kirk against any one of their professors,” Fox News host Will Cain said. x.
