Elden Ring is an action role-playing game that was released in February 2022 to critical acclaim. It is set in a realistic dark fantasy world and lets players explore large environments and dungeons. The game, which was developed under the direction of Hidetaka Miyazaki of FromSoftware, is based on a tale by Martin, the author of the fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire, which served as the inspiration for Game of Thrones on HBO.
In recent years, more than 30 million units have been shipped globally. On Friday, May 30, Elden Ring Nightreign, a spin-off of Elden Ring, will be released globally.
To date, Garland has directed five films, four of which have been released by A24. Before moving on to Annihilation (the exception, distributed by Paramount), Men, Civil War, and the previously mentioned Warfare, he made his film debut behind the camera with 2014’s Ex Machina. Most recently, Garland has been producing and writing several movies for Sony’s upcoming 28 Years Later zombie trilogy. Danny Boyle is the director of the first film, which will be released on June 20.
Garland and DNA have been together since he wrote the screenplay for the 2002 film 28 Days Later. Rice became a part of that production team for the next film, 28 Years Later.
Goodman, Genow, and Schenkman, as well as WME, represent Garland.
