McDonald’s confirmed to USA TODAY on Tuesday that the Snack Wrap will officially be coming back to restaurants permanently beginning Thursday, July 10.
Customers can order the Snack Wrap a la carte or as a combo meal, which includes two Snack Wraps, medium fries and a drink of choice, according to McDonald’s.
To celebrate the return of the item, McDonald’s has launched snackwrapfiles.com, a website they’re calling “fans’ VIP entry to all things Snack Wrap.”

According to McDonald’s, the Snack Wrap was phased out nationally in 2016, but it “never left fans’ hearts.”
The wait is nearly over.
On Tuesday, McDonald’s told USA TODAY that starting on Thursday, July 10, the Snack Wrap will formally return to restaurants permanently.
According to the fast food chain, the Snack Wrap consists of one of McDonald’s new McCrispy Strips, which are juicy chicken strips made entirely of white meat, encased in a soft flour tortilla and topped with crisp shredded lettuce and shredded cheese.
There will be two flavors of the product.
Our Spicy Snack Wrap delivers the habanero kick that fans are accustomed to from the Spicy McCrispy sandwich, making it bold, zesty, and unapologetically fiery.
Ranch: With hints of onion and garlic, our Ranch Snack Wrap is rich, smooth, and incredibly savory. It offers a delightful burst of cool ranch goodness.

When did Snack Wrap get canceled?
2006 saw the introduction of the Snack Wrap to the McDonald’s menu. The Food Network states that it would undergo “several different iterations” over the course of the following ten years, but its primary components were lettuce, cheese, sauce, and chicken breast meat (grilled or crispy) in a soft flour tortilla.
McDonald’s claims that despite being phased out nationally in 2016, the Snack Wrap “never left fans’ hearts.”. “..”.

Popeyes introduces Snack Wraps in its own unique way.
Popeyes said in a news release that it is adding Chicken Wraps to its menu on Monday, June 2, offering customers the “craveable flavor of Popeyes, now wrapped and ready to go wherever you do.”.
Using a warm tortilla inspired by the taste of Popeyes biscuits, the wraps feature Popeyes hand-breaded and battered chicken tenders accompanied by crunchy pickles, shredded cheese, and crispy lettuce. You can choose between a Classic, Spicy, or Honey Mustard spread when you purchase the new item, which will cost $3.99.
Popeyes is launching a new line of tea and blueberry lemonade drinks in addition to the wraps. Customers can choose from Blueberry Lemonade, Blueberry Cane Sweet Tea, and Blueberry Unsweet Tea in the lineup.
The wraps and beverages will be offered at participating Popeyes restaurants across the country starting on June 2 for a brief period of time.
